Worst Thai take away I have ever had. We had a taste of the starters and they were burnt, dry and oily. What a let down. I called to let the restaurant know. But we didn’t get a response . Sure they are busy. But...no. This is not good enough after 40 mins plus wait. Say no if you can’t deliver quality!More

Firstly got a very warm welcome ,ordering is easy you have a numbered menu and you write down how many portions of the dish you want next to the number on the slip of paper you are given for my starter I had pork spare...ribs with vegetables in a home made sauce to die for , the meat fell of the bone and meal felt light , for main I had mild beef curry with vegetables and again a sauce to die for and .coconut rice , I eat the curry first then spooned rice into remaining sauce delicious .and you can take your own drink and if you want it chilled they will put it in their fridge for you. very clean and tidy . and not forgetting the Dr Who Tardis lavatory .More

I believe it's a family-run business, needs to be tolerant of waiting for food & bills but it's worth waiting. Food is amazing, authentic, and tasty. Highly recommend.

Excellent meal, best Thai food we've had in years. Very reasonable prices and you can take your own drink! I would thoroughly recommend the chicken satay starter and duck spring rolls.

This is the second time I have been to Lins and can’t recommend it enough! The food is fantastic, authentic and tasty - all for a good price! The waitresses are great and really friendly. BYOB is a really nice touch as it means it...is enjoyable for everyone. 10/10 would definitely recommend.More

We have eaten at Lins many times before and the food was always so tasty and well priced. Today we had a take away and i have to say we won't bother having food from there again. We had 2 starters and 2 mains and...all was just tasteless and disappointing. Such a shame.More

We ordered for a scheduled delivery between 18:45-19:15. Once it got to 19:22 we phoned to see where the order was. We were told they tried to deliver, but didn't have the house number, so they left us a message. We had no record of...this, but we reiterated the house number to them, and were assured the deliver driver would be over as quickly as possible. Another 20minutes go past and still no sign. We phone up again and they said they'd phone the driver, then phone us right back to give us an update. Another 20minutes pass. No phone call from them, so we phone up again. The same lady we've been speaking to says it'll arrive soon, the delivery driver's going as quick as they can (laughing while she says it?) We press her for a more concrete answer and we're passed onto her manager. She listens and says the same thing. We repeat our concerns and it turns out the order has been sat in the restaurant (not out for delivery, despite multiple reassurances that it was). We're passed onto another manager who tries to put the blame on us. After a long conversation and another lengthy wait, eventually, the food gets delivered; an hour and a half late, most of it burnt where it had been sat in the oven for so long. I never ever write reviews but I am actually disgusted by their customer service and attitude. Ordered takeaway via Uber eats. Stated delivery time between 8.20 and 8.40. Firstly contacted them at 8.50 to ask for an update to be told it would be another...10 mins. At 9.15 contacted them again for a further update to be told it would be a further 10 mins. When I said it had already been out for delivery for 30 mins and it would be freezing cold and to cancel our order and refund they said I would have to do it via Uber eats. At 21.50 it arrived (an hour and 10 mins later than expected) the manager stated that I should have not accepted the delivery. When I phoned back very angry he accused me of being drunk, which I had not had any alcohol at all. The delivery driver would not take the food back even after I stated I had cancelled the order with the manager. I would never ever order takeaway from here again. The food as expected was freezing cold.More

I wasn't going to write this review because I work in hospitality too and I know bad days can happen, but today I was left down again. A week ago or so I book through uber eats 1 entree, 2 mains and 1 side (for...one person. Average spent around 20quids). I booked around 4 pm with delivery scheduled for 8 pm. At 8.10 pm I got a message saying the food has left the restaurant. I wait, I wait, I wait... At 8.40 pm the food has not arrived yet (mind that the restaurant is only 10mins far from my home). I called them and they said that my dinner was on its way and that it would have been 10mins. I wait 10mins, nothing. 30mins later (9.15 pm by now) I call again and I ask them where is my food. During this call, I might have sounded harsh, but my delivery had one hour delay! They informed me how it would have been 15 more minutes because somehow the printer was not working. It was a very stupid excuse. You guys should talk to each other. If it really was broken, why not let me know the first time? I would have understood and waited with patience. Instead, they kept giving me false times. I hung up the phone and waited, waited... And WAITED! Finally, after 2hours waiting, I receive my food. Not a single apology, not even a complimentary small item or a note. I couldn't even enjoy the food and therefore I cannot say if it was good or not. Today is my birthday. I can't celebrate with my family since they're in a different country and due to COVID I cannot join them, so I decided to have some nice Thai food. I book another meal with this AMAZING (Not at all) restaurant, thinking that the previous attempt was just an unlucky day. Again, at 4 pm I place my order. This time I schedule the delivery at 7 pm so that I will be able to eat at least 9 pm (accordingly to what happened the time before). Everything seems fine, but then at 7 pm right when my delivery was due to, I got a message saying that my order was cancelled with no other explanations. Well, let me say guys, I think you all need to check whether you are actually able to run a restaurant or not. I feel sorry for all the future customers that you will have to deal with. I felt let down, disappointed, especially because I entrusted you for a second time! Thankfully I found a much better restaurant, able to treat their customers right. It was recommended by a friend as the most authentic Thai food and we were not disappointed. A local family business with great prices and welcoming staff!
