We booked a table on Saturday evening for which we arrived slightly early, so queued at the bar for a drink. Bar service is slow. When shown to our table, we given about 3 minutes to decide before our order was taken. The food was nice as we both had fajitas (why do you only get a very small portion... More

The restaurant was nice and quiet. Quick service with a smile. I was there for a late lunch, so can't really comment on dinner service.

Called in for a quick dinner as we were catching the ferry back to France. Kris was friendly and efficient and got our order exactly right. I ordered chicken fajitas no cheese or sour cream so I got extra salsa and guacamole, perfect. My husband really enjoyed the pulled pork and chicken. Onions rings were super. We loved the hot... These days people are far to quick to put fingers to keyboard and complain about this and that , usually looking for that reduced bill or free drink , or just because now there are so many cooking programs on tv , every one thinks that they are a chef. and to be honest I try to not take to... Spent over £800 here (party of 10 of us). My starter was poor quality (potato skins) topping was scarce and presentation lacking. My main course spicy coconut chicken - more like a coconut soup, there was three small pieces of chicken (smaller than your thumb). Gents toilets were dirty and needed decorating - a lot of graffiti in the cubicle... More

The staff were all excellent; friendly, helpful etc. Food was OK, we were there for my son's birthday and everyone seemed happy with their orders. However, I'm sure fajitas are supposed to be meat, onions and peppers stir fried together. Ours were onions and peppers fried together with a sliced, grilled chicken breast laid on top. Also the habenero wings... More

A pity. This is a very pleasant looking space, but on the evidence of our visit, the food is simply no good. We had something described as a Tex Mex sharing platter, and it was revolting. Mostly dry and over cooked, the worst thing was the bowl of nachos: soft and slimy, and covered in an unidentifiable gloop. Avoid

I came here for my birthday last year, along with some of my family. The atmosphere was good and we were seated quickly, but after that it went downhill. The taking of our orders was sloppy and unorganised and when brought out we received the wrong ones, which made the waiting time almost unbearable. I noticed that a lot of... More

'South of the border' passion is always served up at Chiquito. A menu of bold Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine is prepared however the diner likes it. Burritos, sizzling fajitas and tacos can all be customised for vegetarians or those wanting more spice. A kids menu, games and entertainment add to the family-friendly vibe, and there is a great range of exciting cocktails, mocktails, wines and tequilas.
