If you like your boozers plain, and without fripperies, then this should do you. It's pretty small, so I imagine that it might be a different place when crowded but, on this occaison, there were less than a dozen customers in while I was there. The decor is... well... if you don't like rugby, you might find it a bit... More

Have been to this charming little place regularly since it opened and have never been disappointed in the food which is hearty, drink which is traditional, or service which is always great. The atmosphere this little Irish pub generates welcoming and warm on cold winter days, fresh during the summer months with its front that opens up and during major... More

This is the place for a great breakfast and a friendly service that will not be bettered. I believe it's one of the best of all the bars in the Southsea and Portsmouth area.

Great food for breakfast with all the trimmings and fair portion size & value. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere during the day & evenings. Only issue it is very small and is a challenge to sit anywhere or stand without having to move for everyone going past to the toilets.

We had such an awful experience with one of the waiters, the younger one of the two was fine but the much older one ruined our thoughts on the place. The food, was expensive, but good. However, i shall never return again, on arrival we asked for a table of 3 in which he SIGHED before directing us to a... More
