Absolutely amazing. My father and I eat the all the time before football and are always welcomed warmly by the staff. The food is Devine and when at football we always say the food was better than the game and the only reason we go is to eat the food. Back to the food side, the carbonara is really creamy... More

Having lived in Southampton for a while i didn't know this place existed until recently as it's well hidden but still in the city centre. I've been back several times in just a few months its that good. Great selection of pizzas and pasta and some very good specials as well. Nice, small cozy atmosphere and great service. It's always... If you can find a space the best place to park is just in front of the Guildhall but if that is full West Park or Portland Terrace car parks are the nearest. The restaurant is tucked away down a little alley but dont be put off as the atmosphere and the food inside are great - but make sure... More

Been coming here for over 5 years now and my partners family has been going for nearly 20 and we've never had a bad experience. The food is good, the menu is Italian with some nice variety in starters, an interesting and fairly diverse menu and generous food portions. We also have never been disappointed with house wine which is... More

We have dined in this restaurant three times recently. Twice last autumn and again this January. Small and cosy, a warm welcome is always waiting. they have a great choice of delicious Italian food from a printed menu and specials board. They are able to accommodate a strictly gluten free diet, and stock gluten free pasta. This restaurant has been... More

Been a few times....must admit it's not my choice but a family members....It's ok in summary. Quite small. Owners/staff are Greek i think. Quite friendly, food is ok. Once my chicken wasn't cooked, and my friend got ill too, but all other times it's been fine. Quite good house red wine too. Can easily nip outside for a cigarette if... More

We've been eating here for years, just an unpretentious, easy going, friendly and busy little Italian restaurant with good food and excellent service. How they manage to conjure up such a broad menu and list of specials in such compact surroundings is a mystery to me. Never disappoints. Book ahead.

We were looking for a pre-show dinner before going on to the Mayflower. I did a search on Trip Advisor looking for restaurants less than 10 minutes from the theatre, and the Piccolo Mondo came up. It was one we had not tried before. It is quite small, located down a side street in the middle of Southampton, and is... More

Very friendly, good food. Chef will change the dish to your liking. Perfect for pre-theatre. Cosy little restaurant. Hidden away so follow directions.
