First time used this takeaway. Sadly, the food arrived cold. I ordered butter chicken but received an overly sweey chicken tikka masala and the bajhis were overcooked. A really dissapointing meal.

2 hours for a delivery…. is ridiculous. every time we called they added on 15 mins. we are mid house renovation can’t cook anything and ordered at 6pm for a 45 min delivery as stated and at 8:15 still no food!
I ordered a biriani around 8.45 last Thursday. It was very dry - so much so that it was hard to swallow, and I chucked it in the bin after eating less than a quarter. Also, I feel the dish may have been re-heated, because...the rice was also dry, and much of it was very crunchy, as you'd find in rice that had been re-heated. I was told there was a complimentary vegetarian curry in the bag (why?). It was about half a portion, and contained a few bits of boiled potato, two green beans and a few small bits of veg. The sauce was yellow, thin and too sweet - like the worst Chinese take-away curry sauce. Also, there was one popadom which wasn't crunchy, but a bit soft. I just had the feeling that the chef wasn't working that day and someone was reheating previously cooked food. I will certainly not go againMore
We have been using this takeaway for years now. Have tried others but always regret it. Food is fantastic! Not greasy and quality meat. Absolutely amazing!
Delicious food, excellent service, I have tried all the takeaways in the area and this is by far the best. Excellent website also
Quality, good price and not oily. I don't go back to places that let me down on quality of food, so 7yrs+ is testament to how good this place is. A+
I collect from here fairly regularly on Sundays, and the chicken vindaloo is up there with being the best I have enjoyed, and I have eaten vindaloo in and from many places in the UK over the last 18 years or so. Service is very...friendly and quick. Out of all the places I have ordered curry in Southampton, this is the one I recommend.More
I have had Indian food all over the UK and I've never had such a bad meal as i had delivered to me last night, the food was wrong to what we ordered, the onion badgie dripping in oil and the lamb was as tough...as old boots. Never againMore
We have had SO many takeaways from Bengal Paradise. As a family we often say "Fancy a Bengal?" The food is delivered promptly and hot. We have never found fault with the food or service. We are long term, happy customers :-)
What an amazing place this is. I’ve been eating here for the last 2 years and really couldn’t praise this place enough! The quality of the food is superb and is more like restaurant quality! The prices are very reasonable and the staff are absolutely...brilliant. Every single time I’ve ordered The food has always been fresh and cooked well!More
WARNING-DO NOT USE THIS TAKEAWAY. A bloody plaster was found in the onion bhaji that we were given. Truly disgusting and a health hazard.More
Dear Customer, I am disappointed and upset and still as mentioned I do not know how you got that plaster in your meal as we do not use that type of plaster and no one had worn any plaster. The thing I find a bit...More
I came here for a chicken tindaloo just over a week ago, and it was excellent - spicy with intense flavours, it lacked potato though so I'll make sure of that next time. Friendly staff and my takeaway was provided very quickly. Prices are ok...too. This is the place I've repeatedly chosen out of many I visited in Southampton, and the place I recommend to friends.More
I've been ordering from Bengal Paradise for a couple of years now, after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews online. I wouldn't even consider ordering Indian take-away from anywhere else in Southampton. The quality of the food here really is remarkable for a take-away restaurant. Everyone we've...introduced to Bengal Paradise loves it. And we even have friends who come to stay from out of town requesting that we order in from here! The online ordering system makes it so easy to place your order directly with the restaurant and food is always delivered piping hot and within the hour. Every dish we've ever tried from here has been exceptional - and I'm not a walk over when it comes to food standards so that endorsement really is saying something! I must order from here at least once a month. Which, is a lot in my book as we rarely "do" take-away food. But when we do fancy a curry, it's Bengal Paradise without question.More
We ordered our curries on line and were delighted that they arrived on time with all the requested items. The food was hot and very tasty. We would not hesitate to use them again if in the area.
I very rarely buy takeaway food but when I do, this is the ONLY place I buy from. This is without a doubt THE BEST Indian in Southampton. The food is so filled with flavour every time - No exceptions. I ordered for collection yesterday...and parked out the front. A lady had parked fully on the path and I was parked up on the road. I didn't realise initially she was a delivery driver and she TOLD me to move and was getting very angry. She then said I was parked illegally and I had to move so she could do her deliveries. I then realised she worked at Bengal Paradise. Very very rude and quite intimidating, especially when I wasn't parked illegally at all. Think they need to reconsider who they employ as they are representing Bengal Paradise.More
