The perfect experience, perfect food.

there isn't a single bad word I can say about everest. From their lovely, personable staff to flawless food this is seriously the best meal you can have in town. The buffet is unbelievable value for money and I have never left feeling even slightly dissatisfied. Give them a shot and you will be a constant customer

It was really great to be able to finally return to Everest. Over the years I have frequently visited with family and friends and it never fails to deliver. On this occasion it was dinner with the wife. We both had Garlic Fried Prawns to start as they are so good and neither of us would be prepared to share. We opted to have Chicken and Lamb Tikka with Garlic Naan and Sag Aloo as our mains. It was all very good. It was nice to feel comfortable eating out and all of the required Covid safety measures were in place. The tables were well spaced, the staff kept there distance without losing the personal touch and masks were worn. If anyone has doubts about currently eating out I would recommending giving this place a try. We will return soon for sure.

I and my wife regularly lunch and dine here since the last so many years. Yesterday we had dinner. Great food. The staff are always so friendly and kind and take great care so that you have a memorable culinary experience. We enjoy the freshly prepared food and we relish all the snacks and main courses not forgetting the desserts. There’s great social distancing arrangements in place during the ongoing pandemic times. Nothing better than an Everest meal

Everest is, simply put, the best place in Southampton to enjoy an authentic curry. Since I discovered this restaurant I go there at least every other week, if not more often than that, and I've never been disappointed with their amazing food. When I return from abroad, I make sure I go to Everest, or order take away from them, on the same day I arrive. There are also incredibly tasty vegetarian options, and there is plenty of choice for them. The tables are well spaced and the waiters wear a mask, plus hand sanitizer is available at the entrance. I would recommend 100%.

Best curry in Southampton is back!

We have now come back to Everest three times since it reopened. The table spacing is good, staff wear PPE and it feels safe. The food is as good as ever - the best curry I've ever had, and easily the best in Southampton. Everest is always our first recommendation to anybody visiting from out of town. For fans of garlic and chilli, try garlic fried prawns, chicken chilli dry and chiken karahi.

Nice tasty food and great kind service

Went for a evening buffet last week. As it is a table service, we were asked for food options beforehand. All food were served hot, both starters and main courses have many varieties and they taste delicious. They have even checked our table regularly to ask about the food and if we need anything else too. The customer service is great. Moreover, the tables are nicely spaced and clearly follows social distancing. Overall its a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing multi-course Nepalese lunch for £10.95

I visited with a colleague for lunch on a Thursday. We chose the 'lunch buffet', which is not quite what you might expect. Rather than serving yourself, the food is brought to the table in four different courses. The first is pappadums with three different chutneys. The second is four different 'starters', onion bhajees, samosas, and two different chicken dishes. The chicken was succulent and delicious. We had also ordered some draught Cobra lager. Next come the four main courses: chicken korma, chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb balti and a potato dish. These were all very tasty, with interesting spicing. The korma sauce had a good coconut taste. Accompanying these were some excellent naan breads. These had been freshly cooked in a proper tandoori oven and were exceptionally tasty with some desirable toasted fleks of black - the best naan I had eaten for quite a while. As if we had not had enough, a dessert of ice cream was served. So many well prepared dishes for such a reasonable price! The dining room was impressive too, with freshly laundered linen.

Incredible food; incredibly slow service.

Went to Everest on a Friday night at 7.30 as a party of 11; the venue seemed busy but not unduly so for a Friday night. We were seated and ordered poppadoms and drinks fairly quickly. The restaurant got steadily busier, and the waiters seemed very rushed. Even allowing for this, it took more than 50 minutes for our food order to be taken, despite us asking to order multiple times. It took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive, which is less of a problem as obviously we were a large party dining at a peak time. I will also say that despite the staff being incredibly inattentive, they were polite and friendly when they did talk to us. Despite the service, I will say the food was incredible, everyone loved it and agreed it was some of the best Indian food they'd had in the local area. I only had the brinjal bhaji, a favourite dish of mine, and this was one of the best I'd had. Didn't try much else but as I said, everyone else seemed to love theirs too. So overall, 5 stars for food, 1/2 stars for service.

The food was amazing best Nepalese food in Southampton. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Customer service was amazing. Staff where very friendly and welcoming, and I would recommend to order the tandoori mixed grill as it was the best Indian / Nepalese food I have had.

A hidden gem.

2nd visit for a family night out. We have visited 2 other Indian restaurants of late in Southampton and have to say this is our favourite. The buffet at £19-00 a head is all you need and more to sample Nepalese cuisine at its best. Would recommend and will be returning soon. Staff very professional but very friendly.

Everest is the best Nepalise restaurant in the Southampton area. My friend organised a surprise birthday for another close friend and he was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly service. I would recommend the buffet menu, it will not disappoint!

Authentic great tasting food at a reaonable price. A wonderful and welcoming atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. As a seasoned curry muncher I would highly recomned this resturant over all local competition.

Delicious Momos

I had come to Southampton to visit the town and since I was feeling a bit peckish, I popped a visit to this establishment. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and made you feel at ease. The service was very quick and efficient. As soon the food I ordered which was momo was placed in front of me, I took a bite and these were the most succulent tasty Momos I've had so far. It's rare to find Momos this authentic as the ones from back in Nepal. I was thoroughly pleased and will visit again if I come back to this town.

Excellently seasoned and just the right amount of heat

Ordered dinner “buffet” (really fixed menu) for each of us. Was too much food for two people but each dish from the starters to mains delicious and differently seasoned. Just the right amount of heat and spices. One dinner could have been shared by two. The best Indian food we’ve ever eaten Service was slow but allowed for leisurely meal.
