Whilst the delivery was fast and efficient that is where the good points ended. the ribs although tender had some kind of non-descript sauces on them and we couldn’t tell which flavour was which I do not recommend the capital spareribs or barbecue spareribs. The...crispy wontons had a small sliver of mushroom and one single Beanshoot with some kind of brown sauce and that was it. The spring rolls were non-descript crunchy pieces of filo pastry. The Sesame prawn toast however was okay but soggy. Whilst I was hungry and ate most of my spare ribs (which was two portions) the Mrs couldn’t eat any of hers and they’ve gone in the bin. This used to be my go to place when I was drinking in Shirley but sadly it seems to have changed chefs and I cannot recommend you dine in this establishment.More

Received as a takeaway. Whilst delivery times were efficient, that is all that was good. My rating of 1 is being generous as you can’t put any less. Chow mien - probably one of the easiest things to make was appalling. You could get the...£3 noodle meal deal in Tesco & throw some chicken in and have a nicer meal for less of the price. Satay sauce was runny. The prawn crackers were stale. Only other good thing was the £10 off on Uber Eats. I’d be livid if I had to pay full price. Save yourself the hassle. First & last for this place.More

I ordered a takeaway from here and immediately threw it in the bin. What an absolutely disgusting standard of food and portion size. Save yourself any money by just eating out of a bin. Avoid this place like the plague!

Having been a big fan of Kachina when I lived locally to the restaurant, I decided to treat the family to our old Chinese fave. Well, what can only be described as the worst food I have ever received turned up. There was zero flavour...on anything, prawn dish which is supposed to be with peppers and chillies and at least a whole onion chopped up to make it appear like there was a lot of food. The prawns were not cooked at all , the chips were reheated from about 3 days a go Id say! The chow mein…. the noodles had nothing on them - nothing! It was as if they were pulled from a pot noodle and shoved in the container , I’ve never seen or tasted anything like it. It’s such a shame , Kachina used to be lovely food and the best Chinese in Southampton. Not only is it terrible food but it was very expensive . £40 chucked in the bin. Hope they sort it out and it goes back to its former glory- Until then . AVOID!More

Really annoyed. The rice is really cold, is it even safe? The chicken in orange sauce is chewy is though it’s been reheated and it’s cold

Haven’t used this restaurant for a while and we decided to give it a go even though takes me 25 minutes to get there. We ordered at 6.30pm and it was perfect timing as the food was ready at 7pm. Satay chicken was incredible as...it was very juicy and the peanut sauce was excellent . The Curry prawn was also another kick to me . Absolutely delicious and big compliment to the chef . We will definitely come back for a proper sit it meal at the restaurant when the lockdown is over.More

For a family celebration we definitely won’t be returning to this restaurant again. Booked a table for 6:30 to then be told we need to arrive for 6pm so they can be ready for the next lot of people at 7:30 (absolute greed) The food...was ok but the rice and chow mien was absolutely tasteless and much better if you order it as a takeaway version. We had one portion of satay chicken left over as we had to leave by 7:30 so we asked to take it away as it didn’t feel right just wasting a whole portion however they strictly were against this so threw it away. Absolutely wasteful and quite disgusting. It was an ok experience but very dissatisfied with multiple reasons.More
