A group of us went here, 4 adults and too many kids! The food was amazing, literally couldn't fault it. I wish we lived closer, it would definitely be a regular stop. It probably doesn't fit with the business model but all I would say...is some bland options for kids would of made things a little easier - but we managed and the staff happily provided us with some cheese and wraps for them to make themselves at the table.More

This used to be my fav place to eat, came here 3 times and loved it. Our order was messed up which was fine however the waitress put our food on someone else's table then 5 minutes later we queried where our food was and...she took the food off their table and onto ours, i refused the food and was shocked you tried to serve me food that had been on someone else's table. Not hygienic. we moved on with a great meal as always. We took a group of us this time however the food was poor and bland. Such a shame as this was my favourite place to eat, not sure if you have a new recipe or chefs but the food was poor! Again the blonde lady every time we have been is so extremely rude which if the food was not as good as it was i would not return. We had 2 bad food experience and the same moody waitress every time therefor you have lost my custom. Such a shame.More

Arrived here starving and expecting amazing tacos after reading rave reviews. Sadly was very disappointed with the tacos - they arrived and were presented well, however I could only describe the taco base as very strange - they had no taste and a very odd...texture - the most un-like a taco base that I've had. The toppings also let them down - the aubergine sounded amazing, but was lacking spices so sadly didn't blow my mind as was hoping for. The beans were like over cooked baked beans, solid, heavy and very bland. After the recent tacos I've had in the past year, these come no where near I'm sad to say. The chips were great and also the atmosphere but please please please improve your tacos.More

This place is heaven for a beer lover! We came to make a beer tasting. However we were told that they don’t present the beers as they use to do. Helpfully enough Ben offered us a third option for each beer we’d like to taste....Ben gave us a piece of paper with the name of each beer and we rated them. We had a fantastic time tasting them. They have a huge offer on draft beer. We just tasted 6 of the 12+ (I believe). We’ll come back again to keep going because we liked the experience and the service Ben provided. Unfortunately we cannot rate their food but we have been told that they have amazing, freshly prepared food and that is what we’ll try next time before the second part of our beer tasting experience at the Overdraft. Great find in Winchester, really reasonably priced. Lots of beers on tap, I don’t particularly like beer but found some that even I liked! The food was GREAT, chilli cheese chips were perfection.
I felt I had to write this review in the hope something changes. The bar should be great - good beer, and I have enjoyed the food in the past. However I have to comment on the staff. On an afternoon this week about twenty...or so work friends were having leaving drinks in there .... spending quite a lot of money! There didn't seem to be anyone else in there at that time so good business for the bar. However the staff would have struggled to be any more unfriendly. It seemed that we were an inconvenience to serve and not a smile to be seen. Maybe it was because we always appeared to be stood or sat in the wrong place! Many places do modern craft beers now, I think I'll choose one that serves with a smile next time.More

We have visited this bar before in March and had some lovely food and beer for lunch, we do not live local so we decided to have a night away in Winchester and spend the evening here and try more of the amazing craft beer...and food, so we booked a hotel and visited the bar on Friday 5th May with another couple for the evening, the night started well and we have no complaints about the beer and food it was all delicious 🤩 however we were sitting next to a girl and she mentioned to a member of staff discretly that her Margarita tasted a bit odd and she had been the week before and had several but this one did not taste right, the member of staff who turned out to actually be the manger leaned over me took the girls drink and used her straw to taste the drink told her there was nothing wrong with the drink and gave it back wile spilling it all over my bag on the way over! This is disgusting you can not drink out of a customers drink and then hand it back and tell them to drink it! I felt sorry for the girl and said to the member of staff 'excuse me but the customer is usually right you should probably offer her another drink' he told me No I won't make her another as it will be exactly the same, he was very rude. My husband then told him that is not good customer service and he replied by saying he is the manager and it is his decision and the drink is f****** fine! Wow so rude can not belive we got swore at by the manager it was extremely unacceptable and embarrassing as we had travelled over an hour with another couple and told them how great the place was to then encounter this rude and aggressive behaviour from the manager! We left and found another bar and will not be returning now such a shame.More
Had the chipotle tacos, absolutely delicious. Cider was 10/10. Staff was lovely. Food came out so quick. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!
Taco Tuesday highly recommend! Best and only Mexican place in Winchester - we enjoyed the nachos as well as the Machaca Pepper Beef and Chipotle Roast Chicken tacos as a take-away. They come in kits which is fun to assemble when you order online. Look...forward to trying the squid taco next time! Really authentic Mexican taste.More
Had drinks here on night one of our break. Really great selection of craft beers, great atmosphere. Came back on night 2 to drink and eat. Beer excellent again, Fries were excellent, my wife's burrito was enormous and quite tasty. My tacos, however, were a...real disappointment. Firstly, they were a but unspicy, Tasty, but lacking a kick of Mexican food. Most of the flavour came from the pink peppercorns. The pastry was a disaster. It looked like it was totally uncooked, and tasted like that too. Not sure if that was correct, but it was really not nice.More
