Always a good meal from here, although the Penang was a little hotter this time than her in doors would have liked, so naturally I had to finish it for her. Well balanced flavours, cooked to perfection.

The food is delicious. When we visited it was run by a man and wife only. Extra staff would help service which was a little slow when we visited.

Amazed to see a trip advisor rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from 81 people. They must have experienced something totally different to us. Table service was extremely slow and priority was given to takeaway orders. Disappointingly slow as we were the first diners...in the restaurant that evening and none arrived for another 30 minutes. Food was average not great. Photos on website do not even accurately reflect the restaurant interior which is tired looking and instead of a bar there is a table with behind it what looked like the contents of a cash and carry shopping trip all over the floor. Sad to say we will not recommend or return as there are far superior local eateries.More

This Thai restaurant is a must-go! The space is very intimate and beautifully decorated. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked authentically. My favourite dishes were the duck wraps and Massaman curry - highly recommend them. My partner and family members thoroughly enjoyed the evening....The host was charming, attentive, and welcoming. He even made me a cocktail that wasn't on the menu at my request. I absolutely loved the restaurant and if I lived closer, you'd probably catch me in there once a week!More

The food was very good, had the duck main dish which was cooked perfectly. Host was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return.

We combined our meal with a visit to a concert in the Cathedral - just two minutes away. We were greeted by name (we'd booked) and were well welcomed and served . The establishment is very well presented, neither too big nor too small. The...food could not have been of a higher quality and was personally presented by the chef. It was a pure culinary delight . I had mussels followed by the sizzling prawns, whilst my wife and daughter had vegetarian and vegan dishes of an equally high quality. The menu had a good variety of dishes from which to choose. There was an equally varied choice of drinks - alcoholic and soft. The Thai Garden is an independent , family establishment, of the highest standards, and their dishes are excellent value for money - well worth a visit. Treat yourselves!More

Fantastic Food , fresh and authentic. We booked for a group of 12 but due to illness only 9 of us attended . We were looked after exceptionally well and can only highly recommended this lovely friendly restaurant.

Just blown away by the consistent quality and clarity of every dish we ate in this establishment. We ordered about 12 different dishes. My sister in law is Thai and I have to say, this all tasted authentic, and also delicious. The staff were extremely...friendly and attentive. The food was spanking fresh, vibrant, not at all muddled or generic as can so often and disappointingly be the case. It is all cooked by the lady of the house who is Thai and who manages the kitchen single-handed. My husband and three children aged 9-14 all agreed unanimously that they’d come back to Hereford just to eat here again. We just wish they’d open a branch in London so we could be regulars.More

We had the most superb meal, with helpful advice from the owner who made every effort to ensure all was just right for us. The food was perfect, the ambience likewise. Highly recommended.

Being a strict vegetarian, I specifically ordered from the vegetarian menu. My dish came with meat in, which was confirmed by the old, male server (who didn’t appear to have a clue what he was doing). Unfortunately, I had already eaten a few forkfuls of...my dish before realising that there was chicken in it, so needless to say I was very distressed. The male server just shrugged and said, ‘well, we usually get it right.’ At this disgusting comment, I walked out of the restaurant. The female server then ran after me and claimed the chicken was actually egg… totally bizarre! A few hours later, I started with food poisoning. On top of this catastrophe, we were also seated directly next to the toilet door, which opened up on to our table. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had.More
