The lich is a good spot on church street, dimly lit, sometimes sport on small screens, the landlord is something of a bon vivant and friendly, there's a garden that stretches round the corner, other places might be cheaper but it feels welcoming to people...More
We went here for lunch, and had a lovely time. The landlord is a great guy and super friendly, and bought over a printout with the history of the pub since I was busy taking photos. Which I thought was very nice of him. They...More
A great find, with predominately Greek food, excellent beer and a warm welcome. I started with the Hummus, followed by the Kleftiko and my companion (a vegetarian) had the Prawn Cocktail and the Gigantes Beans (a stew with butter beans, celery and carrots) which we...More

Wholesome Greek food in a no frills but comfortable pub with friendly service and an excellent selection of beers. Starters and mains only, but generous portions and tasty!
Great old style pub with good selection of food and drinks. Food freshly prepared and well served. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Nine of us had a wonderful mezes style evening meal. The food just kept coming and was excellent. Our host was friendly and attentive, the house wine was good and reasonably priced, as was the meal. Thoroughly recommended!
