Decent pub full of rugby pictures nice pint but food wasn't on. Shame as I was hungry and slummed it in Burger King after.
Really interesting day out and so much to see the priceless jewellery on show was simple dazzling and really interesting to see how the othernhalf live
Had visited before and so being familiar decided to visit to watch the weekends rugby matches on the tv screen. The pub was full, seating and standing, some tables were reserved, so obviously popular. Great convivial atmosphere, friendly customers and staff. Very good service and...complimentary snacks provided. A great pub!More
in the city this is by far the best pub if you are in town great atmosphere, great host, even if the drinks are a bit pricey
Had a smashing lunch at this lovely pub. It's dog friendly, reasonably priced and we received a warm welcome. We were just visiting Hereford for the day, we're glad we made it our lunch choice.
One of the many lovely public houses in the heart of historic Hereford. Varied selection of drinks, and attractive menu serving some traditional pub classics. Worth a visit!
This is a lovely pub in a great location. The food is simple and tasty. I shall be returning when I get the chance.
We went to the Vaults A couple of weeks ago for lunch and decided to return. As you can see if we had the chili con Carne and the BLT respectively with some adult beverages. I have a really nice garden to sit outside and...taking the weather. The staff is very friendly. I would suggest a visit.More
I come here quite often with family and friends for a pint because of its central location and the lovely street it’s in, which is one of the nicest places in Hereford. It’s a classic pub done right - dog friendly, warm fires, real ales...and nice staff / regulars. They used to let us hold events and meetings here too and were very welcoming. My only issue has been the food which, while great, is served at intermittent times so I’ve rarely had the chance to eat here.More
Called in for a lunchtime pint and sandwich. Great welcome, super toasted BLT and a perfect pint of Bass. Well done!
Church street is a lovely part of Hereford, well worth exploring for the independent shops, cafes etc The Lichfield Vaults is a lovely traditional pub in the heart of it. The choice of drinks was excellent as was the service and prices. We were in...early evening and it seemed to attract a good crowd of regulars as well as workers from nearby offices. A massive plus for us oldies was the music being played, pure 80's on our visit, happy days!!More
A proper pub. Proper beer. Friendly service. No sport or other unwelcome distractions! Hereford seems very short of decent traditional pubs service good real ale. Recommend this one.
Friendly city centre pub, with good selection of ales. Can sit outside and people watch, or inside, especially if the rugby is showing on multiple TVs. Seems popular at most times.
Visiting Hereford on a pleasant autumn day we found the Lichfield Vaults on Church Street in time for a light lunch. The beer was excellent and the sandwiches were filling and prices were reasonable. The staff were very friendly. All in all a very satisfying...experience.More
