We were stopping in Ledbury and having visited this pub some 15 years ago we had to call again. It was like time had stood still. Still as quaint as ever. We called at lunchtime and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. In...More
Went to see a mate’s band here (pre-Covid). Strange set up, but a real good atmosphere. I note they have loads of great bands here as a general rule. Hopefully they’ll be back up to speed at some point. Well worth a look, particularly on...More
I loved the Prince of Wales pub. The pub is housed in a gorgeous old building which is absolutely full of atmosphere and history.
The only thing that made little sense is their approach to coronavirus. Every table has a small plastic screen that divides...More

Hi there, glad you had a good time here at the PoW. Current government guidelines state that you can meet in a group of 2 households, but that you should still socially distance from anyone not in your household or support bubble. Currently this means...More
This pub doesn’t change - and why would anyone want it to!
Friendly service, a good pub grub menu, all served freshly prepared in generous portions , and at very reasonable prices.
Most definitely worth a visit.
It's just what every town needs! A Proper Pub!
Atmosphere in spades!
Great selection of beers, ciders and gin!
Friendly locals joining in the chat and banter!
Good pub grub!
Not posh but full of characters!
Live music too!

We had a family get together last weekend near Ledbury and arranged to meet early Friday afternoon in the Prince of Wales. It was a traditional pub, with the town car park nearby. There were 12 adults, one baby and 3 dogs and we were...More
Quirky small pub in the cobbled narrow Church Lane (a lane that goes to the church). Real ales and ciders galore with a sensibly priced food menu. Always near the top of CAMRA recommendations and one of the best places to visit in Ledbury.
