We are a group of ladies who once a month or so mett for lunch somewhere. This time Dinnio's was chosen.
There was a choice of Italian or middle eastern menus.
Most of us chose the Italian menu as we were more familiar with that.
Drinks were ordered and arrived quickly.
Some of us ordered starters, which appeared fairly quickly. We did say had we have realised how large the starters were, another time perhaps skip the starter. Those who had starters all said they were very good.
The main courses arrived in due course and on the whole we all enjoyed what we ordered. The lady who ordered the calves liver said it was excellent although the portion was a little large, but one persons large is another persons okay.
The ladies who had the middle eastern menu really enjoyed their food.
The only slight criticism was from the lady who had the spaghetti bolognese, she commented that the sauce seemed a little dry.
However the service was very good.
We would come again.

Had lunch with a friend on a Saturday. Busy but nice atmosphere and service was good and friendly. The chicken shish was very tasty and was served with salad, bulgar wheat pilaf (delicious!) and salsa. Will definitely be back.

Ate here last night on the 1st night of freedom after lockdown 2.0! Good covid precautions, clear screens between tables etc. Lovely to be given a paper menu though!!
Fab menu - Turkish on one side, Italian on the other. All gorgeous. I had the mixed meze which was beautifully presented - see pic.
Chatty lively atmosphere, warm friendly service. Whole evening an absolute pleasure.
They even offered a discount for NHS staff 💙
See you again v soon (when I'll remember to ask to put a tip on the bill, good lord I've forgotten the basics of eating out!!)

We arrived as requested 15 minutes before our 8.15 booking. We advised staff we was here and continued to wait outside as the tiny doorway was very congested and did not allow for any social distancing. Our table was not ready until 8:40. So we waited outside in the cold for 40 minutes. When we sat down we was rushed to order as the new 10pm curfew.
It’s very rare that we get a night away from the children. The food itself was great, however the whole experience felt very rushed. From ordering to service. We had barley fished our starters when our mains came out.
At 5 minutes to 10 the staff came running over with a card machine to take payment. My partner still had half a glass of wine. As it was so rushed. I appreciate the new government guidelines and restrictions however they seemed to over book and lead to poor service. Staff arguing Amongst themselves.
when bringing this to the mangers attention in the night he was very dismissive and rather rude. He advised us that we knew it was a 10pm deadline. To which we responded if we had our table on time we would have finished and left on time. With much argument he reluctantly agreed to remove the cost of the wine from the bill as we could not finish it in time.
Overall good food, but let down on service, and poor preparation. Several couples and groups all left in similar position on the night complaining in outside about this.

As i said to the manager (the male with the ponytail) when he over charged us for the meze; £13.95 PER PERSON for two pieces of halloumi, two falafel and two prawns, the bill read £29.99 which was wrong. I asked him if he would pay that for his own meze and he didn't answer the question and got very confrontational.
Other than that, the lamb here is excellent. Just a tad expensive averaging at £20 per main and a ridiculous price scheme on the meze designed purely to catch people out. The italian side of the menu is more reasonably priced though.
I hope you are reading this as you said you "dont want any bad reviews", so here is a fair review on your establishment Mr Ponytail, just work on your interpersonal skills as your food is actually very good!

5 people ordered, 2 ordered calzones and one was cold inside. We politely requested that they bring another as it was meat inside and we didn't feel that being stuck to the pan for a week was worth a slightly awkward "could I get a hot calzone". So they took our cold calzone away and brought another; this was, without being dramatic, colder than the previous - 3 people from the table inserted their index fingers into the doughy mass with freezing ease. Needless to say they brought another and this was cold; at this point the person that wanted the meal gave up and we agreed that we would remove this from the bill, understandable. The head waiter (we requested him) approached us and began to argue and state that he had seen his cooks heat up the meal in the oven - I don't what kind of oven can heat through an entire calzone in 5 minutes (a microwave at a push) but it was bloody ice cold and the attitude by this guy was insulting, it was COLD! Bad food and poor attitude from the waiting staff - the wine was good though. Never eating here again and advise other not to, utter rubbish!

my boyfriend booked a table for us for 7:30pm yesterday, we were sat and asked about drinks and the food very promptly, the service was good and so were the starters, but then the mains came out, my pasta was drenched in cream, my boyfriends steak was raw and COVERED in fat. it took a while for the plates to be collected, were then finally asked if we would like more to drink. we then waited half an hour and no one came over to ask if we wanted dessert or the bill so we had to call someone over meanwhile all the staff were lingering in the middle watching. once we got the bill we sat there for another half an hour and we were getting annoyed now, one of them finally decided to get the card machine after watching us for the past hour and let us pay. needless to say we’re not going back

Been here a few times, returned after a long absence and found prices had gone up considerably, but food quality not as good. It’s all a bit basic, and you are paying London prices, not even any salt/pepper on the table ( which the food could have done with) and it’s the only restaurant I’ve been to that charges extra to put a bit of chilli in a dish!!
Was busy and service was quick, so not a place you can relax and spend the evening. Really loud and annoying “happy birthday” songs blasting out periodically., to the point of not being able to hear yourself think. Used to really enjoy it here but maybe they’ve taken their eye off the ball. There is plenty of choice of these types of restaurants in the area and they are better than Dinnio’s now

Just finished another amazing takeaway from Dinnio. If you’re missing beautifully prepared delicious Italian restaurant food then I recommend you order a Dinio takeaway. Generous portions piping hot and as delicious and well prepared as if you were in the restaurant itself. 10 out of 10. Thank you Dinio you’ve made our day!

Attended Dinnio with a group of friends for a celebration meal. Whilst I was happy with the food, the bill was, in my opinion, too much. Averaging out at £50 a head for a 2 course meal across the group, a couple of bottles of wine and 1 or 2 drinks each (max) it smacked of London prices.
There are other places locally at which you can get a similar meal for less.
If you are happy to pay £50 a head for a generic evening out, there are other restaurants within East Herts which I would prefer to go to.

Food wasn’t as good as has been in the past. Carbonara was a really small portion, and other pasta dishes all cold. Felt as though we were being rushed to leave. I mean is there any need to be wiping down the tables with soaking wet cloths while the customers are still sitting at them finishing their drinks ? I work in a restaurant myself and would never do this. Felt like we were being hurried to go, we then couldn’t lean on or against the table while we finished our drinks as it was wet. At least wait until we left before cleaning the table!

We always enjoy coming here 😍 We’ve been as a couple, with friends and with a few nephews (aged under 10) Food is amazing and service is even better. Totally chilled atmosphere 😋 We spent 3+ hours here for lunch today, grazing, drinking and people watching 🥰 There was no time constraints as the restaurant is so large. We’ll be back soon, so save us a window seat again 😀

As usual, the service was on point and the food excellent.
We used to go to the sister restaurant in Bishops Stortford (Percio's) the only difference, it's much bigger and less crowded when busy but they have managed to replicate the great level of service and food. A great go to restaurant for a special occasion.

I took my family here for lunch and it’s the first time we have visited… the restaurant was fairly empty so we had some doubts but carried on regardless.
The service was generally good but you’d expect that with only 3 tables to serve.
Our starters basically looked like a cheese on toast you would make at home in seconds - tasted ok but I was almost embarrassed at the way it was so basic.
Both my wife and I had pasta dishes and both were fairly massed produced in feel. The pasta itself has the feel and look like that “fresh pasta” you buy in Tesco’s when. For the pricing here you would expect it to be made on site…. I had some chicken in my dish and it was so dry, the middle of it almost was powdery - very likely frozen.
The pizza my son ordered had a sloppy base and the toppings just slid off the moment he picked it up.

I’ve been here a few times now both with friends and family and not been disappointed. Very nice food and the staff are very friendly and always welcoming. The food is both cooked and presented very nicely. Will continue to use this place as it’s local and we enjoy it! Ps Couple of the waiters always makes a fuss of my little boy which is lovely as many places are not at all welcoming towards little ones.
