We had a breakfast and lunch there and both meals were very nice. Tasty food, not expensive, friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast, we had the big breakfast. Four arrived at the same time with perfectly cooked eggs. Completely enjoyable and a great friendly waiter. Would highly recommend.

Visited Saffron Cafe on a day out to Canterbury. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed 2 big breakfasts which was definitely good farm produce with the most perfectly cooked dippable fried eggs and 2 coffees BUT however we nearly fell out the door gasping for...air when he slapped us with a £30 bill after charging us to change an item on the breakfast on the way out. I wouldn't recommend on a budget but I would recommend the breakfast itself I can't be honest than that.More

We had lunch at this café about a week ago. Everything was perfect - good food, served promptly and by very pleasant staff. My poached egg on toast well done to perfection and my partners Panini was delicious. It was good value too - I...would definitely go again.More

As it was advertised as dog friendy; we walked in only to be berated by a very agitated owner who pushed us outside. I do mean pushed, I'm disabled and use a rollator. My partner who was trying to help me was told loudly to...move. All very dramatic It was if we'd brought the plague in. The food was average. He realised his mistake and tried to overcompensate. Another worker hustled us through as well but was very apologetic later. Cannot recommend.More

We found this little café by chance and decided to stop for lunch. It’s tucked away on a little street just a 5-minute walk from the city centre. Despite being a Saturday afternoon in high season we easily got a table. The waiting staff were...friendly, polite and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. They serve a choice of breakfasts (all day), wraps, salads, burgers, panini and main dishes. So it’s perfect for breakfast, brunch and lunch. We both had The Big Breakfast and a pot of tea for two. Our food arrived freshly prepared and piping hot. The ingredients are clearly of good quality and it was truly delicious. Without hesitation the waiter topped up the teapot with hot water to give us a second cuppa each, and also replenish the milk. It was simply perfect: a little gem of a café set away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. And it was good value too. Highly recommended!More

The large breakfast was pretty good but the bacon had no flavour, and a lot of fat on it. I did ask for a pot of tea during the food but never got it. A lot of trouble with WiFi, with multiple tries st inputting...different codes. Apparently they were changing router very recently. Staff atleast helpful and polite. May return.More

Tucked away in a narrow back street but close to the city centre with train station and car park nearby. A lovely cafe for breakfast or lunch, with simple food at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, excellent service. Menu includes simple food with a choice...of sandwiches, baguettes, pasta, salad, fries etc. Courtyard at the back.More

We sat in the pretty courtyard at the back, and were served by a very friendly lady. We only wanted baguettes but these were tasty and plentiful.

So good we visited twice in the same day one for morning coffee and cake and again for lunch. Happy friendly welcoming staff fresh food served with a smile and reasonably priced. Recommend
