My wife and I had eaten at the Parrot previously. We decided to try Sunday lunch there. We had hummus for starter which was excellent.. The two Sunday roasts were as good as the starter. The bill came to £49.00 including three glasses of wine....More

Had lunch here and can highly recommend. Beautiful old building, friendly staff and delicious food. We had a winter beer that our lovely friendly waiter recommended and it was perfect with our delicious pies. Loved our meal.

Excellent food, nice ambience, great service although New Years Day evening meant they probably weren't as busy. Landlord and staff very amicable. I had a dessert to die for and two pints of different local ales both in great condition. All I all just about...More

We stoped by one of the oldest pub in town. Great food (big portions), fresh ingredients and attentive service. Thanks to Will for his help selecting the dishes.

Table for 6, one of which was a child. Separate child menu with good choices. The main menu was also very good. We all ordered different things and everyone was happy.

Good food, real fires in the several fireplaces, and every part of the building is gorgeous (with the exception of the loos). The upstairs dining hall is to die for - take anyone who enjoys historic buildings and they will start to drool over the...More

Went here on a Tuesday evening, the place is nice enough and the food was decent. But, they charged me £3.60 for a pint of Coke Zero - that's too much.
