Popped in here yesterday for lunch after reading reviews on Tripadvisor in the morning! We were not dissapointed. My husband and I both had the Homemade Soup, Tomatoe and Lentil. Lovely tasty soup, and warmed us up, on a chilly day! Excellent price too.. My...More

This is an almost hidden gem. Its barely 2 minutes from the Cathedral but slightly off the beaten track. Much much better than the usual national suspects. The Coffee is excellent and the range of hot and cold sandwiches on offer is outstanding. The ingredients...More

We had just an hour to check out Canterbury to decide whether it was worth coming back the following day to explore in detail so we were just looking for a takeaway soup for a light lunch. Many cafe's claiming to serve 'homemade' soup had...More

Pleasant cafe which is never too busy. There is probably a reason for that. For most people it is a little old fashioned. For my mum (83) it's perfect so I usually take her there. And I must say it is always fine.

Stumbled across this place and were really pleased we did. A fairly 'ordinary' menu - jackets, salads, paninis. Usual drinks. Clean, warm and friendly. Nothing fancy, just did the basics really well. Very reasonable prices
