Location is nice, well presented...we sat outside in the Sunshine...Happy Days... 1 x Glass of Coke (not a pint) 1 x Pint of San Miguel Beer £12!!! Not acceptable, would have stayed for longer if it wasn’t for the prices!

On a sunny day out in Canterbury we decided to visit a few places for drinks and lunch, this was not too bad a venue although a few tables outside were for smokers so if you wanted to watch the world go by this is...More

Perhaps it is just me, but Shepherd Neame pubs don’t quite hit the mark. This place is nice and airy with large outside space, good sized tables, and a decent selection of tasty carb-laden pub grub. But there is a limited election of average beer...More

No doubt, one of the best pubs in Canterbury. Good choice of beers from different breweries (whistable bay on top). Good pub food, with a quite wide range of options (burgers, chicken wings...). It's a typical pub but not an "old" one.

Review only concerns drinks as a pub, as have never eaten. Use this pub a few times a year while either out by myself, with family or with friends. Beer is always good, with the usual Shepherd Neame fayre on offer. Atmosphere and service is...More

Great staff. Lovely atmosphere in the evening. Very busy on a Monday, which added to the atmosphere. Decor was great with some interesting photos of Kentish scenes and things associated with Shepherd Neame. Pretty courtyard area and garden with heaters. Excellent beer and snacks. Will...More

On a cold and windy Saturday night we stopped by this pub for a couple of pints before a meal and to watch the Wales 6 nations rugby game. We were fortunate to get a seat by the roaring (gas) fire, which was comfy. As...More

Nice and traditional pub close to the city center. Good beers (Shepherd Neame's brewery) and tasty burgers. One of the best pub in Canterbury. I suggest to try it.
