Hidden away off the beaten track and having only a couple of tables, this is most certainly a gem of a secret in Canterbury. Delicious coffee and cakes but the sandwiches are just yummy!

Wow! Willows Secret Kitchen is hidden and off the beaten track, and that's why everyone loves it. Excellent toasted cheese sandwiches and really personable service. The coffee was also outstanding as well. This place is tiny, but packs a great punch for what it offers. Wander off the tourist route when in Canterbury and come and visit this place. It... More

We were wonderfully surprised by this little treasure in Canterbury. We went in to get take away sandwiches for a picnic and ended up with bespoke toasties for everyone. The coffee was delicious too.

What a disastrous visit. After 20 mins waiting for coffee a staff member announced she was having problems with coffee machine, the machine was dismantled. The staff member also seemed to be cleaning the deep fat fryer. After a half an hour finally left without having coffee. Perhaps they were having a very bad day, they should have put up... More

Good Afternoon Thank you for taking the time to review our coffee shop. I would like to address a couple of points in your review. Firstly I worked in the shop all day yesterday Sunday and all day Saturday at no time did we have any problems with the coffee machine. The other point is we do not have a... More

This is a great little eating spot tucked away from the main high street. The smoothies were amazing - natural, chilled and refreshing. The sandwich we shared was also v good with fresh crusty bread. The young lady serving behind the counter couldn't have been more friendly. We watched the world go past from one of the benches at the... More

Very comforting grilled cheese sandwich which was massive and very filling! Awesome flat white. Definitely a favourite. Worth a trip away from the bustling and busy high street for a little something special.

Do not be fooled by the size of this place, the food and amazing customer service should be worthy of the biggest building in Canterbury! I regularly go for lunch and thought I'd contribute my two pence on trip advisor as the food really is great. Very generous portion sizes in the sandwiches/baguettes, great coffee, nice selection of locally sourced... More

Such a pleasant, friendly couple run this small coffee shop. Inside may be small but the welcome is BIG. Homemade cakes, tempting unusual fillings for sandwiches and jacket potatoes, delicious coffee. Well worth a visit.

Really friendly atmosphere, very nice coffee, amazing grilled cheese for sure. I could be there everyday! Maybe the food could be just a bit cheaper :)

Thank Maria K

Hi fellow Tripadvisor people, we thought we would give you a little info about us.

We are a casual very small Sandwich & Coffee Bar, serving you great coffee in the hidden back streets of Canterbury. We are not easy to find, but hope you will try.

Feel free to call ahead and ask if we have space as we are tiny but very welcoming, we have just launched our Grilled Cheese sandwiches and all are Iron Grilled to order just for you.

We hope to see you soon
