The premises are now run by the Canterbury Punting Company (see separate review). It offers simpler snacks and various drinks to customers for the punts, as well as the public at large..

Wandering the back doubles of Canterbury we happened across this amazing little place. Sited right on the river (and home to Canterbury Punts if you fancy twice the experience) this is great place for just a coffee or much more. An eclectic range of furniture...More

We visited this lovely quirky cafe today and we loved it. A very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside on the table placed over small bridge on the river. Lots of birds helping themselves from the bird feeders near our table was a pleasant...More

Just stopped for a drink as passing by and the setting on the river was too tempting! I had beautiful wine, my husband had great beer. Staff were really friendly, will definitely go back to try the tapas.

We each had a bowl of soup (Parsnip and apple) with bread before heading out on a boat trip which began from the Cafe. It's a great coffee shop for having some basic snacks. Hard to find unless you happen to be taking the route...More

I enjoyed an evening with a group of friends here, eating small tapas-style snacks and acceptable house wine. The (new) owner was very welcoming, and enthusiastic about plans for the future — outside seating by the river, a pétanque court, etc. I will visit again!

While we chose this place in part because it was dog friendly, that’s not why we now love it. We were treated to a small plates feast, put together after some back and forth with the owner. The meal included an amazing soup, salad, swiss...More

Went with a party of seven to try the tapas and cocktails- we weren’t disappointed. The pork belly and halloumi were particular highlights. A personal atmosphere, you do not feel like “just another customer”, which is a really refreshing feeling
