Having had several very good meals here in the past, my husband and I booked a table at Cafe Mauresque for dinner last night. Despite the lovely atmosphere of the restaurant, the meal itself was not up to the standards we remembered. The food was...More

Quite atmospheric decor downstairs, typically moorish style. Food was excellent as was the service. Our whole party enjoyed everything and look forward to going back soon

The lamb tangine was the best meal I had in southern England. The location is close to the cathedral. The interior is nicely designed. Very good food and service.

Service a little slow but good and friendly when it came. Our party of 6 all enjoyed our meals. We thought the food was excellent. I will definitely return next time we are in Canterbury.

Hi there, I'm afraid we do not serve churros with chocolate sauce. But we serve delicious 70% dark chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream ;)
