Another fab visit to this quirky restaurant specialising in the cuisines of the former Soviet Union hidden away in Ramsgate. The owner is really engaging and brings a smile to everyone’s faces. All three courses were delicious - particularly the honey cake! Can’t recommend enough.

An exemplary dinner, both courses cooked from scratch and served with the owner’s recommendation of a light Russian beer. The menu was extensive and fascinating. Put aside any ideas you may have about Eastern Europeangood being stodgy, meat heavy and lacking flavour. Our meals were fresh and flavourful. The Salad Olivier...aka Russian salad was almost a meal in itself. The summer borscht was a nice surprise with its new tangy...taste for me and the hot borscht was rich and tasty. Some of us still had room for a dessert of honeycake and shots of 'special' vodka. The decor was very much hunting lodge style with a twist! Ramsay our host and proprietor made us very welcome and obviously enjoys his customers and is justifiably proud of the food he serves. If you are visiting Ramsgate make it a point of having a meal here, you won't forget it in a hurry, for the best of reasons.More

What a wonderful and quirky evening! Didn't quite know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. A lovely family run restaurant. The menu was so interesting I couldn't decide, but chose the wild boar which was beautifully tender as was my friend's chicken shaslik. Will...have to go back for more.More

We ended a hike in Ramsgate and decided to forgo the seafront restaurants and instead give CCCP a try on our way to the train station. It was the best decision we could have made! Friendly atmosphere, excellent food, good portions, and a must-come-back-to-try-everything-else menu.
