When we arrived we were sat right in front of the aircon, it wasn’t a particularly hot day and I didn’t fancy sitting with my jacket on, so I asked if they’d turn it off, they moved us to another table that was next to...the door and also had the windows open. Unlike most Indian restaurants they don’t try to rush you between courses and you also get a couple of taster items. We ordered a platter for two, which was 4 starters but wouldn’t pick one of them again, another was cold and another’s flavour over powered the flavour other three.
The main courses come with plain basmati rice but if you order two mains you only get one bowl of rice, the main I chose the sauce had a funny taste and the beef was a little tough. The fish main was very tasty and the fish was cooked perfectly. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience I would chose other dishes as the food was plentiful and the staff were very pleasant, the restaurant was very busy with customers and deliveries and takeaway collections.More
