Usually not bad but got our order wrong and weren’t willing to amend. Quite shocked as they’re usually okay. Not good customer service.

Whilst Dragon Tan was recommended to us, I’m afraid our experience with our Takeaway was not good. We have deliberately not frequented Dragon Dan ( once Honeymoon) because we did not rate the food there. Having heard that it had changed we decided to try...it again but were SO disappointed and will not be using it again. Nothing that we ate came upto expectations … broccoli swimming in a watery liquid, tasteless special rice, tough sweet pork, we’re just a few of the disappointments. Never again.More
We haven't ordered with Dragon since before lock down and so we were excited to be ordering again from them as they have been the best chinese locally in our minds for a very long time. I dont know what has happened, but the food...quality was really poor. No sauce with S&S Hong King style, Veg pancakes are now tiny. Portion sizes are smaller. A waste of £40. It is expensive for what it isMore
Where do I even begin, by far the worst Chinese in tw, the chow mein was tiny little noodles with boiled chicken chucked on top, the chicken fried rice was definitely not fried just a tub of boiled rice covered in oil, the mushroom omelet...taste like sick, none of what we ordered is edible even my dogs have turned there noses up at it, absolute vile and a waste of £30 😡More
Althought the wait for this was and hour and a half, they arrived on time and were lovely and polite. The food came still hot and was absolutely delicious. The deep dried shredded beef in sweet chilli sauce was incredible, best prawn toast I've ever...had, the special rice was full with succulent meat and the chicken satay were to die for! Highly reccomend this place, just make sure you order a lot earlier, to get it at your desired time.More
One of my family is intolerant to onions and Dragon Tan always manages to deliver full meals with no onions, very helpful. Many restaurants refuse or promise it, but still include them. The food is always tasty and good value, its become a lockdown regular.
Have tried a few places around town, but since using Dragon Tan last year I haven't looked back. Their food is excellent, service is very professional and the staff are always friendly. Being just down to road from me is a big bonus too. Have...only collected though, never had delivery but collection is always on time - a mere 25 mins. Definitely recommend!More
Delivery quoted at at 90 minutes. Turned up after just after 2 hours. Would have checked but phone permanently engaged! Don’t risk it.
Best Chinese in town. Always consistently good but last night’s was top notch! The crispy shredded chilli beef was perfect and the Singapore noodles tasted fresh and flavoursome and not at all greasy.
This restaurant has been a lifesaver for us during lockdown. We've used them a number of times and have always been very pleased with the quality and the quantity - food is served in very generous portions, piping hot and full of flavour. It's very...good value for money too. The only slightly annoying thing is the 8.30PM closing time - which has caught us out a couple of times - but who can blame them, in these very difficult times?More
I have ordered from here numerous times and each time it has been great, especially in comparison to many Chinese takeaways in TW. I’m a returning customer and will be for the foreseeable future however, the real reason that nudged me to write this review...was my experience this evening... I’d unknowingly given the delivery driver an extra £20 (as 2 notes were stuck together), I hadn’t realised however, within a minute or so he was back at the door to return the additional £20! A real honest person and I’m very appreciative of the honesty and integrity. Hopefully you’ll (Dragon Tan) be able to relay my thanks & appreciation to your delivery driver. I think he’s an asset to have and would like to think this is testament to the business that at your running. Thanks!!More
Ordered a takeaway and was asked to collect in half an hour. Arrived on time but had to wait 30 minutes to collect it. Won’t be going there again.
Just to say that we used this restaurant to order a takeaway meal since our usual takeaway is temporarily closed and were really delighted with the quality of each dish at a very reasonable price. Even the prawn crackers were the best we’ve ever had...! Will no doubt order from them again.More
There are some mixed reviews about this restaurant but we went there Saturday night and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and courteous, especially Hugh and the food could not be faulted. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
Having read the reviews we decided to try somewhere different for a takeaway. Really like the fact they don’t use any MSG in cooking. The food was really tasty - it tasted different to the ‘usual’ takeaway which indicates that it is cooked fresh in...house. The smoked shredded chicken and crispy chilli beef were really good! Not the overly sweet and gloopy sauce that often comes with chilli beef. Will definitely come here again. Only a 4 star as the portions are a bit on the small side. Otherwise, great.More
