We were staying at the Premier Inn and went out for breakfast.
This is an authentic and charming place which serves a range of breakfasts. The coffee was great as were the pastries da nata.
Well worth its rating
A couple friends and I dropped in for lunch yesterday whilst out on the town and the food was excellent with brilliant service. I highly recommend this Cafe if you are gluten free as I found there was a wide selection of food to choose...from and the taste was still exquisite. The carrot cake was particularly my favourite with a light and fluffy texture whilst also bursting with flavor. Definitely asking for the recipe next time I drop in! Recommend as they are highly accommodating to people with allergies.
Thank you Casa da Claudia!More
My wife and I had excellent breakfasts in this small charming cafe . The service was very efficient and cheerful. Very clean and nicely decorated W/c which shows how much the owner cares about his customers.
My wife and I were looking forward to visiting this cafe in view of the excellent reviews . However when we arrived we were approached by a chap , possibly the owner who, instead of offering assistance to get over the threshold step told my...wife and it would be better if we did not go in as it may be unsafe.
We couldn't believe this man's attitude, offered no assistance and basically made us feel unwelcome.
We left disheartened that such discriminatory people still exist , although we ended up having an excellent breakfast in the Coffee Grind around the corner.
I have to say in all my years visiting older buildings which do not have purpose built disabled access this is the first time I have had such a negative unfriendly experience .More
I only discovered Casa Da Claudia a few years ago whilst out in the high street area wandering around trying to decide what to have for lunch one day.
So, popped in to be greeted in an exceptionally friendly manner by their team. I have...since been popping back on a regular basis to get some lunch and have never been disappointed with what I have ordered.
Great food, welcoming friendly staff and fantastic value for money - what else could you ask for!
Keep up the great service guys 👍More
I've been going to Casa Café since 5 years ago... in a weekly basis! I just love the place and staff is very friendly. Emanuel, Sam and the rest of the team make your visit worthwhile. If you happen to be in town, pop in...and order 'the special' with a smoothie. It's just delicious!More
