A traditional country pub built in 1500,with its beamed ceilings and flagstone floors all adding to its charm. Our Candle lit dining room creates the perfect ambience to allow you to enjoy our freshly prepared food ranging from our Salt & pepper battered squid to lamb shanks cooked in red wine & rosemary. Our daily special board has many a dish to tempt you, try our beer battered cod and chips, Steak & ale pies or maybe just tempura prawns with a wasbi mayonnaise dip. Our Sunday roast with three different meats and a good selection of wines and beers along with a large carpark makes it the perfect venue to visit.

After being to the other local pubs and restaurants around the area, it’s been extremely refreshing to finally find one with good food, relaxed environment and a good selection of drinks, steaks were perfect and I cannot say anything to put the menu down.

Had a lovely cozy evening. Staff was really friendly always smiled. I had The Bell Burger, it was cooked to perfection, amazing purple coleslaw, chips was crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle. Would recommend anyone to give this cozy pub a try.

Called in for lunch on on sunny Wednesday in September. Warm enough to sit out in the garden which was very pleasant. Portions were generous and food was very good. Good value to. Staff friendly and helpful. Will visit again if in the area.
