We just had drinks as we had eaten earlier in the other Hull Wetherspoons the Admiral of the Humber. The 3JS's was very busy but we managed to buy some drinks and sat in a corner, people watching. A more modern pub than its sister I thought, better furnishings and perhaps cleaner. Usual good value drinks and food menus.

I have had both good and bad experiences at Weatherspoons. The service on this occasion was good in all honesty. Bar Staff were friendly and the waitress was extremely helpful and apologetic about the food I ordered the Empire State burger and my girlfriend had the Mixed Grill. We weren't informed there were no tomatoes available for the mixed grill.... More

We visited on Tuesday 14th March and our order was taken at 11.56am when the pub was very quiet - perhaps an omen ? We both ordered chicken burger, without tomato but with added bacon and cheese, with chips. When the meals arrived the plates were cold - not good ! This meant that the chips were very cool. The... This is a big pub in the Old Post Office - very popular and busy but a good location near the Old Town and main square and has all the usual Weatherspoons menu. They didn't have enough staff on the day we were there and so you waited a long time at the bar to be served and tables weren't... More

We visited this bar on a Sunday evening. It was not overly busy and the food came quickly- probably because it looked as if it had been kept warm for the last 20 minutes under a lamp! I had the five bean chilli which was quite tasty but the portion size was laughable. It came in what I would describe... More

This public house it great if you want an inexpensive evening out. The food served is cooked perfectly and also inexpensive. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble I would deffinatley go there again.

We visited this venue on a Sunday tea time. From a limited menu various items were unavailable, including beef burgers - a large tranche of the menu gone. My wife had five bean chilli, this was a tiny portion, the chilli looked like a kids portion, perhaps two serving spoons of rice and a reasonable portion of tortilla chips. I... More

We decided to visit here for breakfast, my partner had a big cooked breakfast and had no complaints, I ordered salmon on a cream cheese bagel and it was just very bland, there was no flavour which was very disappointing. The pub itself was pleasant though and the staff were friendly enough.

We called in for a few drinks. To have a cheap drink in such a lovely building, what's to complain about
