Been to Red Sails many times. The food is always top class and the staff are always happy. Especially Shane on the carvery. Hes always singing and having a joke with the customers! Keep up the good work!

We've visited Red Sails many a time and never had a bad meal, we've always received value for money but today I left disappointed. After a long car journey we were starving and looked forward to something to eat and decided on Red Sails as we'd been a week before and it was fantastic. We perused the menu and my... More

I use to eat out at the Red Sails fairly frequently a few years back. The carvery was always good value for money, the customer service was brilliant and we never had any problems! That's why I didn't have an issue suggesting that my family go there for Mother's Day. As it was Mothering Sunday, we knew that it would... More

Seven of us had an early evening meal. None of us had the carvery, instead we tried the other options. After quite a wait we were dissapointed. The gammon was had by a few of us, and it was tasteless and a bit dry. Undercooked chips and hard peas. Bit of a let down. We've had the carvery on a... More

On our way into Hull and thought we would pop into the Red Sails for our lunch. Easy to get to and good parking. Lots of space to sit. Quick and easy to get served at the bar. We both had carvery lunch, (medium size plate) very reasonable prices. They advertise that they can accomodate GF on the menu. The... More

The beef and ale pie was by far the worst meal I've eaten/left on a plate. It was a classic example of going a step too far in finding profit. Every peice of meat was fatty, the peas were cheap and undercooked making them both hard and unpleasantly flavoured. The chips were horrendous, the worst thing on a poor plate... More

We came here a few weeks ago, and the pub was very clean, and the menu options look nice. The pub is a marstons, but is unfortunately not 2 for 1- so things can get quite expensive. I had a burger- which was quite gristly, but the chips were nice. My Mum had fish and chips- which she thought were... More
