Loved the food and atmosphere, really warm welcome! We ate there with friends, the pub was busy but the staff still made the effort to welcome us.

We so much enjoyed our dinners that 2 days later we went back for more. We were not disappointed. We had good value tasty meals. The staff were attentive, and friendly.
Saw this pub in passing called in got an excellent welcome from the bar staff especially the young lady, had our 2 dogs with us , had the Sunday roast , brill, cooked to perfection, well done.
We had the pleasure of visiting the Outgate Inn a couple of times whilst staying at Low Wray campsite. It's definitely worth the walk, which doesn't take too long from the campsite. Admittedly uphill on the way there but all downhill on the return journey...More
