Superb food at a very reasonable price. Can throughly recommend the eggy brioch or spicy Turkish eggs. Definitely coming back!

Visited for breakfast and was seated quickly with menus. Upon ordering at the till was told it would be 30 minute wait for food. Why not tell us that upon entering. We decided to stay because the place looked nice enough. A while later a...couple were seated on the next table with their dog. There are no signs outside that said it was a dog friendly cafe and to me this is not a problem but what about people who are allergic or scared of dogs? Shortly after a friend of one of the staff arrived at the door carrying her dog and the staff member was petting the dog...hopefully washing her hands afterwards. Our breakfasts arrived after about 35 minutes. My partner had opted for a veggie sausage barm an d she said it was fine and I had the full English. The black pudding slice was very thin and so overcooked that a circular saw would have struggled to cut through it and the bacon had been cooked so long that you could snap it in half. The beans were in a separate pot from the rest of the breakfast and we're lukewarm and watery. Toast slices were very small. For just short of £25 with one tea and one coffee I was very disappointed. I'm not one for complaining but didn't get the chance to as no-one came over to clear the table. If they had I would have mentioned this to them. All in all very expensive for a below par breakfastMore

Looking for a really good brunch while holidaying in the UK. The Farmhouse kitchen did not disappoint. In fact I would rate it as the best meal we have enjoyed on our holiday so far. I had the eggy bread with smashed avo topped with...halloumi and crispy bacon. All cooked to perfection and super tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great experience all round, would highly recommend!More

This place was really great,food was fresh and service was great really friendly,I travel regularly and this the best breakfast I’ve had for many years Apologies to the server I didn’t have any cash for a tip. But certainly will be back.

Dropped in for brunch, overall disappointed. Well presented cafe with ice interior and friendly staff. I had breakfast bagel swimming in cooking oil - black pudding, sausage and bacon all seemed good quality ingredients, tasty once the excess oil removed. Hash browns inedible, soggy with...cooking oil and the bottom half of the bagel equally inedible as had absorbed the oil from other ingredients. My wife had veggie breakfast, similar. Halloumi, tomatoes & poached egg nice, other ingredients unpleasant due to the amount of oil used cooking. Could be a lovely place if they ditch the fryer and use the grill instead!More

Excellent fresh and healthy food in a very cosy and pleasant ambiance. Price is right. Staff lovely. One of the highlights of my holiday.

DINED WITH 6 FRIENDS, MY MEAL APPEARED 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE REST OF MY COMPANY, POACHED EGGS WERE HARD AND ONLY TWO MUSHROOMS FOR AN EXTRA £2 SO DISAPPOINTED. ONLY SAVING GRACE WAS THE COFFEE.

Friendly service from the moment we appeared in the door. Really family friendly, catered for all diets. There was a bit of a wait for food but they warned us and it was totally worth it. Great coffee; lovely ambiance & simply a relaxed meal...with young kids~ thank you!More

I came alone for breakfast before I started work, I was already not having the best day and it really hit the spot! My food was delicious and all cooked fresh, my coffee was made with a lot of love, even heart-shaped coffee art which...I'll be honest, did cheer me up! A lot of places aren't totally sure when it comes to a flat white but these guys nailed it: the drink wasn't boiling hot so I was able to enjoy it straight away whilst I waited for my food! They were very busy when I went and there seemed to be only one lad serving who was genuinely doing a great job considering and all the other people there seemed happy! Admittedly I didn't receive a lot of his attention, although, I did choose to sit quietly in a corner! He was whizzing about clearing tables, taking orders and running the food out, I think I even saw him helping out the guys in the kitchen at one point too - what a Superman! All-in-all a great little café, I got exactly what I wanted and left happy! I don't often find time to have breakfast but whenever I do I'll come here!More

We came across this little gem by accident, the food was delicious I had dirty new York fries which is fries topped with sliced hot dog, mild mustard BBQ sauce and sour sauce which was yummy and my husband had a full English and he...loved it so much he cleared the plate, it was all freshly cooked so we had to wait but it wasn't too long we'll be back as there's loads on the menu for us to tryMore
