When we arrived there were only two tables occupied. The waitress was making a great fuss of a small child who's father was paying his bill at the counter. We were served fairly quickly. As we were eating the cafe filled up. A young lady known to the waitress came in and was served immediately despite the fact that many... More

We fancied eating lunch inside as there was a cool breeze. In Packhouse Court we found The Honey Pot which offered just what we fancied - soups, toasties, jacket potatoes and more. The restaurant was pleasant and the food nice

Can do various options in gluten free. Nice and airy inside, nice decor, good service, pleasant and helpful staff, pannini and cibatta were rather tasty. Reasonably priced for... More

We had a late breakfast there one morning. Wanted to experience an English tea. They serve it all day. The scones with cream and jam were delightful. The service was friendly. It is a bright and cheerful place in the center of town, close to dozens of shops and is a great break from shopping.

A nice range of cakes, and a nice welcome, at this pleasant cafe just off the main square in this beautiful town in the Lakes. A decent -sized pot of tea arrived, and the cakes were fine if not exceptional. There was a good range of food, but somehow it felt like something was missing - there was a kind... More
