I live around the corner from Mrs Millers but hadn't been before so thought I'd take my parents there for lunch. I had the soup and a sandwich and both were delicious. It's a real find and we'll be back soon for dinner as the menu looked fabulous.

A regular haunt of ours, this cafe/restaurant makes some of the best scones in the county. The main lunches are usually very good too. And all this comes with the garden centre on site too.

We have eaten here quite regularly and the standards of welcome, food and attention never fail to impress. The menu changes each month and features local produce. The team are acutely aware of dietary needs, mine being gluten free food, and they go out of their way to help. On no occasion have we been other than highly impressed and... More

Very good New Year's Eve meal. The restaurant was very busy but service and food was excellent. Twice baked soufflés and a fish starter, steak for the main course fell lowed by baileys ice cream and an apple crumble soufflé.

We have been a number of times as we have friends who live nearby - for coffee/lunch/dinner and private function - all excellent. I really can't understand anyone who would winge about anything. We were at the first "pie" night - my only suggestion would be to have made the fish main course option (turbot was great - £5 extra)... More

We visited for lunch with friends. Attentive service and a good meal at affordable prices made the visit most enjoyable. Will definitely be there again.

Went off the main road for a coffee and loo stop. Chef(?) told us to take a seat and choose from the menu and our order would be taken shortly. A passing waitress advised the location of the toilets. We each waited in turn at the table to give our order but no one came near us despite two chefs... More

We visited on a cold November night and had a delicious taster menu. The Irish waitress was very attentive and the setting felt relaxed and informal. A couple of suggestions to the management if I may. It would have been excellent if the fire had been lit - for heat and ambience. And the lighting - I know it's also... More

This restaurant is part of a garden centre however on a Friday and Saturday evening it opens as a restaurant serving outstanding an fine dining experience. I found it by chance during a holiday and consider it as a hidden gem.
