Excellent family breakfast, quality food, great atmosphere and the service was spot on! The manager Joe took our order and we were impressed with the kids choice being able to choose what they liked. We left a very happy and satisfied family.

Situated above Cranston’s Food Hall on the outskirts of Penrith, Cafe Oswald’s is a very smart & comfortable cafe. Friendly staff, table service & very nice food at reasonable prices. After 3pm there is a coffee & cake offer at only £3 which is superb.

We stopped here instead of Gretna outlet. Good range on menu but only one type of soup on offer which none of us liked, a pity. Friendly staff, food was good enough maybe overpriced for what it was.More

Tried to have breakfast here on a wintry Saturday morning. Oh dear. The so called sourdough toast was not toasty – just bread with a bit of a singe to the crust. The accompanying bowl of baked beans struggled to reach any known classification of...More

Stopped off to buy great sausages and other meats in the Cranstons Foodhall. Time for lunch before we hit the road again. Great one course meal. Great selection and all freshly made in the kitchen. Only another 100 miles to go!!
