We have regularly visited the restaurant and enjoyed our reasonably priced food. We are now put off by the extremely poor sliced bread and poor bread rolls, which all taste appalling. We probably will change our eating venue because of this unless this situation changes....More

Hello and thank you for your review. As always we would encourage any customer to make their dissatisfaction known to our staff at the time as it's much easier to answer any questions there and then. I'm not sure which bread you are referring to...More

We visited for coffee and later for lunch. Scone very good and recommend their scrambled eggs. Has outside tables but not obviously so as they have price tags on them. Not many places nearby to eat, so worth calling in if you're in the area.

I highly recommend not to take away food. I only live 5 minutes down the road and as I got home the chips were soggy. I ordered a cheese and tuna panini but instead was given a cheese bacon and tuna panini with a chili...More

This garden centre, cafe and furniture showroom is expanding so quickly they have renovated an old schoolroom which is where we had our afternoon tea Most of us probably had our early lessons in such a room so we felt quite comfortable staring at the...More

The garden centre has been developed over the past few years and is now pretty good. The cafe is basic food well done. Certainly very busy with the local people for Sunday lunch

Description
The Pot Place Garden Centre is located on the edge of the village of Plumpton, just north of Penrith. Our tea room is located in the old station masters house that was once Plumpton station. We are open 7 days a week and pride ourselves in our homemade cakes and scones, cream teas, afternoon teas and lunchtime menu. Sunday lunch a speciality but please book in advance.
