My friend and I, preferring a lighter, non wheat lunch, were delighted to find this pub. The lunch menu for £5 each, had a good selection. We weren't sure what to expect - starter sized portions perhaps? But we were very pleased to receive a...More

My first night in town I discovered this place and it was so friendly. Enjoyed sitting quietly in the corner, listening to the chatter of the locals, the free wifi and cold wine.

If you think you are going to have a quality meal for the price and location forget it. Uncle Ben's rice, frozen chips, supermarket chilli. Extortionate prices, extra £2 for a portion of sour cream which should have been standard. They are glorifying the menu...More
