We didn't eat here so no comments about that. The bar had a good selection of 3-4 cask ales and all the usual dodgy lager stuff, including the ubiquitous Windermere Peroni that most people seem to drink. The beer is kept well, and most of...More

Stopped in for lunch here and we were pleasantly surprised to find a £5 lunch on the menu. We both ordered cheeseburgers which cost an extra quid for cheese, although it was proper grated cheddar 😀. Food was very good. Burgers had chips, dressed salad...More

Pretty bland food. Had the sausages and mash. The sausages were extremely seasoned for my taste and mash was very dry, as if it was made of flower.

Having seen their "watch the Rugby World Cup here" sign, I thought I'd give it a go. Stood at bar waiting and waiting to be served. Not particularly busy but the bar maid just didn't seem to want to sell me a pint. By the...More
