We’ve been meaning to try here for ages! Oh wow it’s amazing! Staff so lovely and knowledgeable. And the food is delicious and cooked to perfection. Looking forward to our next visit!

The small restaurant is welcoming and warm with one of the nicest, friendliest waitresses we’ve met in a long time. Chatty but not in your face and cheerful! The food was delicious - the tall one was really complimentary about his monkfish, beautiful flavours. He...did have food envy over my sardines which I have to admit was so fresh, simple and a delight to eat. For lovers of seafood, this has to be on your go to list restaurants - you won’t be disappointed. For a Monday the restaurant was busy and I can understand why. Hooked is a great fish and seafood restaurant. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. They were able to provide us with good advice when ordering which we then took on board (and appreciated)! The restaurant does not seat many, but...this makes for a nice relaxing atmosphere. The monkfish was very good although I think the soft shell crab somewhat let the dish down overall. I would definitely return and would like to try the lunch menu.More

This is really a great sea food restaurant. Make sure you have a reservation, because you don’t want to miss this one. The staff is very nice. The starters were great, I had the clam pho soup. The hake with lobster glaze was baked to...perfection. The vanilla icecream with biscoff icecream was delicious. Highly recommended! A nice ending to our Dales Way walk.More

Simply the best fish and seafood in Windermere or Bowness. Cannot praise the food and service enough. If you like seafood you must visit.

We had dinner here 4 nights ago and what a delight it was .!The food was faultless and the staff were outstanding.As the name suggests it's a fish restaurant and everything they serve is absolutely too quality from starters through to the desserts.Unfortunately I didn't...get the waitresses names but they went above and beyond by booking a taxi for us and letting us stay inside because it was raining even though it was past their closing time..On a personal note they gave me a birthday card and sang happy birthday to me when they found out it was my 70th birthday.All in all of you like fish this is a must visitMore
