If you're hungry, are happy with simple pub fayre, want quick service and don't want to leave hungry then this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable and there's outside seating if the weather plays ball. Inside, this pub is starting to look a little shabby, but you're not here to admire the decor but get rid of those... This pub is a busy place. It does a nice selection of food and we went twice, once for a full roast and once for fish and chips. Both meals were good value, in fact the roast was very generous in size, too much in fact. The staff were pleasant but the whole place is a bit tired and needs... More

Visited last weekend when weather was red hot. Sat outside for the duration of our stay. Reasonable prices and nice surroundings with parasols. been before and would still go back. The weather helped but we have been when raining and staff are very friendly and helpful. Worth a visit.

We had garlic mushrooms for starters and if we'd realised the size of the portions we probably would have just had a main course. For mains we both had the steak pie.... More

Food was OK, service was OK, not particularly cheap, Typical pub food, everything was OK, but nothing outstanding. Always good beer, but not great coffee.

We went there for dinner on a very quiet night. The place was quite empty, but the food tasted good. Maybe it wasn't gourmet, but certainly the kind of hearty meal you expect from a pub along with a pint. Probably better than other more exotic choices in Windermere.

Called in for a pint and to check out the lunch time menu. The pub was busy which instilled what turned out to be misguided confidence. Staff were friendly enough and helped with our choice from the fairly limited beer selection, the beer was decent but unremarkable. The menu seemed pretty robust, if on the expensive side for pub fair.... More
