The view from here is stunning, I would hazard a guess that sitting outside on the Terrace on a nice day is lovely. It wasn't a nice day though so we sat inside looking out of the window. The food was nice, the coffee nicer and the cake beautiful. Very relaxed, friendly staff and nice clean premises.

Looks good and certainly the views are excellent but the food (main reason for going) was a let down. It's counter order here and given the price of a main meal (£12 plus) this is a bit off. I presume the majority of their clients are tea and a cake? Ordered the burger. Service was good with only a short... More

The cafe is in an old house with partial views of the lake. Reasonable cup of tea, but the sandwiches and cakes are a bit pricey. There is inside and outside seating which is a bonus if the weather is good as it was when we visited.

We visited here both mornings of our trip for breakfast as it was within easy walking distance of the hotel we were staying at (and was a cheaper option than the £10 per head there!). Nothing fancy, but decent enough coffee and a bacon/sausage butty. Perfect for fuelling up before a busy day and there's plenty of other activities on... More

We visited as a family on Saturday. The place was busy but not overly crowded. Wheelchair access is superb with excellent toiling facilities. The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone. Seating both inside and out is well spaced out and easily accessed in a wheelchair. My 15 year old son and his girlfriend had a seat outside... More

The cafe is very cute. It has many options for what one may want to eat. Their sandwiches and ice cream that I had were very good. The workers are very friendly and the service is fast. The cafe itself is very cute and in a great location.

2 kids had the packed lunch option the other had a jacket potato. Husband had a toasty and i had the roasted vegetable salad. My salad was nice and it was nice to have the option of something different to what is usually on menus for vegetarians. Unfortunately the rest was of average quality which wouldnt have been a problem... More

Many thanks for your feedback. We do offer a range of coffees, but have changed our supplier recently and now also offer fair trade tea, loose leaf teas, a good decaf coffee, as well as chai latte and white hot chocolate in our range. Something for everybody, we hope! In the summer we do sometimes have wasps around the terrace... More
