Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our B&B recommended this cafe to us (we were room only). It was a really lovely place- the menu was brilliant - loads of dishes on there - anything you could want from breakfast was on there. I had the pancakes and my partner had...the full English . Both were delicious- made with quality ingredients and tasted great. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you're in Blackpool.More

Having had fish and chips for lunch and then a walk around the shops, we were ready for a coffee and decided to try here as my wife had visited previously with a friend. Very friendly welcome, order taken and then told us to sit...down and they'll bring our drinks over. They arrived a short time later together with a home made Bakewell tart type cake I'd ordered. The coffee (Lattes) was gorgeous, strong but not overpoweringly so. The cake was delicious, wife suddenly fancied a bit of cake so ate half of it, we both agreed it was very tasty. Not the cheapest coffee and cake available ion the resort but it's got a nice vibe, friendly, very clean and quirky. We would certainly visit again, having looked at the food menu, quite a few dishes took our fancy, and I'm a sucker for a full cooked breakfastMore

First time of visiting this cafe/farm shop. Service was good and the quality of the food excellent, although we didn't have anything that I couldn't have made at home! An excellent chicken Caesar Salad and my companion had a huge chicken sandwich. An interesting concept...all round - a cross between a cafe and a farm shop in the centre of Blackpool - an area where I don't ever expect to get anything decent to eat. Will certainly visit again. Well done!More

Excellent breakfast, except that the single egg was hard, which surprised me because the jolly lady in charge of the counter had told me everything was fresh cooked. Either the chefs got their timing wrong or they do the eggs like that on purpose. A...highlight was the Cumberland sausages; but everything else on the plate was lush too: 2 tasty hash browns, good bacon and mushrooms. And maybe the best grilled tomato I've ever had--so sweet (kudos to whoever selects the produce)! Good pot of tea as well. I tried a different place for breakfast every morning in my 10 days in Blackpool; and Hive was in my equal top three, along with Compass and the Peppermill nearby. For what my advice is worth, stick to those and you won't be disappointed.More

Hive is a must visit for us when we’re in the area. The whole family love the menu selection and the white hot chocolates are a hit with the kids. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. It’s the perfect place for breakfast, brunch...or lunch. The desserts are amazing too. A real treasure in the town centre! Highly recommend that everyone visits, especially as the prices are so reasonable too. You’re missing out if you don’t visit!More

We had an excellent experience here, we were warmly welcomed and seated quickly despite it being busy. The lady who seated us talked us through the menu and made it clear how to order. When ordering at the till the lady who served me was...so lovely and kind, despite being obviously very busy! She made us feel so welcome and I also got some discount jam that I’m looking forward to trying in the morning. The food was absolutely fantastic and really reasonably priced. My husband had the croque Madame, which of course I had to have a taste of and I definitely had food envy… it was delicious. I had the really great offer of soup and a sandwich.. the bacon and avocado sandwich was soooo good but the the cauliflower cheese soup was a real winner.. so yummy and I wish I’d asked what cheese was in it because it was just lovely. We had a lovely lunch and I’d highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely lunch out! XxMore

A revisit and definitely not disappointed, we had a wonderful vegan breakfast avocado on toast and a vegan toasted brunch dish, with smoothies. We took away vegan bagels for lunch, vegan viennese mince pies and vegan ginger cake. We also bought a large papaya and...some guavas. Wonderful staff and a gem of a place.More
