Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good vegetarian options with good portion size! Their mushroom with puri starter is a must try. Their family naan portion size is really good.

I've been here several times with my partner and friends and can not fault a thing. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious whatever we order, the service is fantastic and the waiters are friendly and efficient. A special thanks goes to Rizwan who...goes above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable and gives excellent recommendations for new dishes to try. Zest of India is our go to place. Excellent all round.More

Our third visit to this stylish restaurant in the South End of Blackpool. The restaurant retains its impressive internal decor which adds a touch of class. The greeting on arrival was warm and friendly from the team. Service was efficient, popadoms, chutney & chilled kingfisher...beers quickly arrived at our table. Order placed for starter & mains. Sheesh kebab for Mrs James Mixed starter for me. Both looked good and tasted fabulous. Onto the mains, two generous servings, Bombaiya Lamb naga and a chicken pathia for me. One serving of egg fried rice was sufficient. Bread of choice was peshwari. A complimentary drink was the perfect end to a fabulous evening. All round Saturday evening excellenceMore

Friendly welcome and attentive service. Freshly prepared food delicately spiced with very generous sized portions. Will come again on my next visit to sample more of a very varied menu.

We went to Blackpool for a 2 night break and went to this restaurant based on the many excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. We particularly liked their take on the buffet where you still get plenty of choice but they serve it your table....And you can order more if necessary. For us, the main benchmark measurements of how good an Indian restaurant is, is the quality of the meat and the skill in its preparation. The other of course is the flavour. We were not disappointed on either count. The chicken in the chicken tikka pakora was the juiciest we have had and the lamb was tender. Couple that with friendly and helpful service and you have a winner. This restaurant deserves its high rating.More

Another excellent meal freshly cooked and full of flavour, tried a different dish tonight, mango chicken and was not disappointed, my partner had the garlic chicken, full of flavour and in his words amazing. We had a mixed kebab and zest special kebab for starters...and the obligatory poppadums and chutney tray. Garlic rice and peshwaris nan bread finished off with the complimentary mango juice. Never fails will be back soon 🙂More

Visited for an early dinner with the children, whilst staying in Blackpool for the weekend. Always a bit nervous eating out with a 6 & 5 year old, but the staff could not have been more welcoming & friendly!!! They made such a fuss of...the children & even took them to choose their drinks, as they couldn’t decide! The food was fabulous- really tasty, so much flavour & plenty for the 4 of us. The staff were very attentive throughout - if we lived locally we’d visit more frequently, but at least I can say we’ll return next time we visit Blackpool! Thank you for such a great evening & meal!More

Went for a birthday meal on 3rd April whilst on holiday in Blackpool, only went because of good reviews from previous customers. Our experience was far from good!! I ordered a lamb madras & my wife a lamb bunah. When the meal came my madras...was served to me and the waiter said "and rogan josh for your wife " I said no my wife ordered a bhuna, the waiter looked at the meal and said this IS a bhuna sir!! Now I am originally from Bradford and have been eating curries for over 70 years and with this meal teeming with tomatoes (which my wife doesn't like!!) I knew we had been served the wrong dish, but the restaurant were having none of it and didn't seem interested. I am fully aware that mistakes happen but we were the only customers in the restaurant so no excuses for chefs obvious mistake. In closing we also felt that the price of the meal was a tad extortionate. We go to Blackpool about 3 times a year and always go for a curry but sadly won't be visiting Zest again!!More

Taste of British-Indian continental food. All the food was tastety. It likely refers to the essence of Indian cuisine. It could be interpreted as the unique flavors, spices, aromas, and traditions that define the diverse and rich heritage of India.
