Ordered a chocolate cake with oreo filling for my partners 30th birthday and literally everyone said the cake tasted amazing! Even people who don’t usually like chocolate cake said they loved this one. Make sure you order well in advance (I did a month) as they do take some time to reply to you but overall it was easy to order. I did it all on WhatsApp. Also I had to collect the cake but they packaged it very well. For £60, considering the quality of the cake, I would order again for special occasions.

A truely amazing and classy cake shop... service was great and super friendly... the lady on the shop front knew all the cakes and was detailed and provided information around ingredients...and provided a service with a smile. Great place to go with mates for a coffee and an unreal experience if you love cakes as someone who prefers savoury food this can sway you cakes really quickly. Each cake had its own story and the brownie was to die for but the red velvet was by far the best red velvet you will try

I wanted a cake guaranteed to be perfect for my mums birthday because she’s the one who bakes for everyone in the family. Contacted Baker St about my design ideas and we went back and forth. They gave me honest advice as to what would look good on a cake and I left the final design to them. The end result was light and fluffy the filling was so delicious (I ordered wild berry and lemon) the icing was just the right amount of sweetness and it looked too pretty to even eat although it’s almost gone now!
I’m definitely going to be ordering from them again, so worth the price (which is actually decent) when you see everyone’s reaction to it.
Thank you so much and I look forward to our next cake from you guys 💯

A boutique with amazing cakes and different flavours always tasting fresh. They have a small selection so you need to make sure you go when they have them all as sometimes have travelled and only a few left. They are a little pricey but worth it for a treat here and there as you can see how much effort goes into them.

We would like to thank you for the cake! We have ordered birthday cake and visited the boutique for everyday cakes and it never disappoints! The presentation looks just as good as it tasted. The whole family enjoyed it. Will be ordering again...soon. God bless.

We visited Baker St Cakes 2 years ago for my daughters GCSE results and have visited for takeaways since then. We returned to the boutique today with celebrations again as my daughter was accepted to do a degree at University and this was her request. I'd contacted the boutique a couple of weeks ago and asked about opening conditions etc due to the current restrictions due to COVID19. Naeem replied almost immediately and even remembered us from 2 years ago. Today's visit was perfect. As always the cakes were outstanding and delicious and then very kindly Naeem gifted a box of cupcakes and our drinks for my daughter. A massive thank you to Baker St Cakes your generiosity and kindness will be remembered.
Highly recommend Baker St Cakes.

Me and my guests absolutely loved my birthday cake. The decoration was so classy and beautiful, exactly what I have asked them for and done with great attention to detail. The filling (cream with mixed berries) was so tasty and all the ingredients were very fresh. Not one guest left my party without complimenting the cake.
Well done! I would definitely recommend them!

First and foremost, ordering a cake from this organisation, was the most long winded process, after several emails back and forth, they completely ignored my request.
I asked for the cake to be of ivory colour, they produced something, completely different, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, by email, I received a call from an individual called naeem, who had no listening skills, what so ever, and clearly no reading skills either, he was completely rude, not empathic at all, and in fact also made a threat.
If you wanna experience poor customer do visit this place, if not I would give it a miss.

I ordered a raspberry and white chocolate cake for my daughter’s 18th and the cake they made was amazing! It both looked and tasted fabulous. Everyone who had some said how tasty it was. I would definitely recommend ordering celebration cakes from here. We also bought some cakes and macarons for afternoon tea and all were delicious. Thank you so much. You made my daughter’s day!

Orders a cake from this establishment as I been to the shop many times and it was always been extremely positive with amazing cup cakes etc
Decided to order my daughters birthday cake in the most roundabout way with emails back and forth.
The day of the collection, went to pick it up and first impressions cake looked amazing however there was a hair in the box. Totally put me off (the staff more than apologised gave cupcakes and macarons to make up for it. Which I thought was a nice gesture. If it weren’t for the urgency of the party, I wouldn’t have taken it with me.
While at the party, started cutting the cake and the icing was stodgy almost artificial to the taste. There was no flavour to the Chocolate sponge. Very disappointing. Nothing like the cakes I have had at the store!
Emailed Nailah for a compensation or something. Received a very cut and dry response. Frankly, the worst response I have ever had saying there’s nothing they could do and as the staff offered me a couple of cup cakes and 3 macaroons that was the compensation and if I’m to order again they could offer some discounts.
It’s an absolute joke!
Never again will I ever go to this ridiculous shop, waste my money and order any cakes!

Thank you so much for the most gorgeous tasting and looking birthday cake I ordered for my mum. Not only did the cake look beautiful, but the Victoria sponge was so soft it melted in your mouth too. Will most definitely recommend and order again! 😊

1st time at this place, although following them on Instagram. What a cute bright place. Everything looked sooo elegant. I went simple and brought their chocolate cupcake with hazelnut & chocolate praline. Well couldn’t even take a pic because it was demolished within a minute! Seriously tasty I just couldn’t stop and the brownie which was salted caramel and coconut… wow. I’m defo a fan and going back… got to give this place a shot oh and great packaging if your just grabbing x

Ordered a Chocolate Devine birthday cake after seeing the store featured on Nadiyas TV programme.
Positive point : The name says it all, it was simply divine. My husband is very peaky with cake and absolutely loved it all finished their plates!! It was light, delicate and well balanced.
Negative point :
Customer communication could be improved
Order processing went well, however difficult to speak to anyone as it's online. When I got an email confirmation the answer was extremely short, I didn't know who wrote back to me, asking for a bank transfer, could have been anyone! The email was very dry and lacked of friendliness.
At pick up the lady at the till looked miserable and didn't know the balance to pay and didn't advice on how to store the cake.
As a premium patisserie you would expect the best customer communication at every point!

Ordered a birthday cake for my mum's 40th. The service was efficient and the owner's were really friendly. Cake tasted really nice. Had previously tried the macrons and milk cakes- both of which are easily the best delicacies you can find in leicester. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing to bless their taste buds and for sure will buy again from here!!

I / we have had their cakes on numerous occasions, this photo is regarding the first time I have tried them.
The cakes are tasty and fresh, proper French style. A good balance of flavours and sweetness, regularly changing option wise.
The coffee was good, staff nice and patient ( I do like to take my time ).
Slightly overpriced for Leicester and in comparison to the other 2 places that I prefer while there, yet I wish to believe I’m paying for quality and that great things come in small sizes.
