We used to eat here regularly before covid and loved it, I always have the calzone. Yesterday was our first time back since covid and I was drooling when it arrived at the table, but I was so disappointed. It was burnt on the top...and cold in the middle, I only ate the crust on the edge and at no point were we asked if the food was ok, not even when they took the full calzone away minus the crust. Won’t be returning.More

Went on our first date at Roma cafe back in July. Firstly was absolutely amazed at how value for money the menu is, £4.50 for a mimosa yes PLEASE! The food is authentic (no crappy chain Italian food here) and portion sizes are perfect! The...interior is unpretentious and gave the feel of a family owned cafe in Venice. All in all this place is amazing, great value for money and very delicious it also holds a special place in my heart because it’s the first place I ever went to with the love of my life!More

I’d looked at the reviews before so a visit to the Curve meant could try it and so glad we did. We had the mista bruschetta ( mixed) , minestrone which was best I’d ever had, tagliatelle salmone , spaghetti vongole ( one of my...favourites and excellent) and I also sneaked an apple crostata . The house red wine was good. I had a macchiato and wow - best I’d had in the uk ! Good value , good service and will definitely return , location not great and chairs not that comfy but well worth a visit , or two !More

This was our first visit to Cafe Roma, but definitely won’t be our last. I booked the restaurant on the strength of its reviews, the menu looked extensive and it was so well located for a pre theatre meal (only 3 minutes walk to the...Curve). The restaurant is quite unassuming however the food was really delicious and the staff were super friendly. I do wish we’d asked the name of our lovely waitress because she was so welcoming and deserving of a special mention. We ordered a pizza and a calzone; both were really tasty. The lemon cheese cake was divine and the coffee was excellent. Portions were generous, too. Well done Cafe Roma!More

I visited for lunch today with my parents and everything was perfect. My dad loves his coffee and rated this one highly. We had the meatballs and spaghetti bolognese which were delicious and really authentic. The new garlic bread was impressive and the fresh, homemade...Tiramisu was a delightful dessert. Great value for money and generous portions. As always, the personal service at Cafe Roma was first class. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was immaculately presented and clean. I have been a few times now over the last few years and have never been disappointed. I must visit more often. A huge thank you to the owner, Azziza, and her team for their consistently-high standards. My parents will also be back as they were impressed.More
