Visited here for a celebratory lunch, don't be fooled by the small looking interior, this place is actually a lot larger on the inside! The choice on the menu is wonderful from sandwiches and jacket potatoes with every topping combination you can think of to tasty main meals. I had a plateful of pasta. The food was home made and... We stopped off for tea and cake here during a Christmas shopping trip. The service was excellent. I ordered something by mistake and after it had been served they exchanged for something else without a problem The chocolate brownie was the best I have had The prices are what you'd expect A traditional tea room in a busy city centre

Visited with my friend for breakfast just before Christmas and it was lovely! Loved the old world feel to it. We both had the full English breakfasts with hot drinks and were served them with excellent smiley service. Will be returning soon

I had cheese and potato pie with baked beans. Tastes like good old fashioned school dinners (in a good way). Place was really busy and as the venue us quite small, this can make it seem a little crowded. Nice coffee too!

I've been using Mrs Bridges for years. It's a lovely little traditional tea shop/cafe. The service on very busy days can be slow but always very welcoming. Highly recommended for tea breaks, lunch and meals with friends

We popped in for lunch and was greeted with a smile. The menu had some of the usual items on it (didn't see any anions thank god). but had quite a few unusual things which all sounded scrummy. I had smoked duck and parmesan and gem lettuce in sourdough bread and my wife had a crispy mackerel open sandwich with... More

The main sitting area is quite small and narrow. I had salmon and asparagus risotto and tea for a late lunch. The tea was fine. Risotto was ok, nothing too memorable. Maybe having the high tea might have been a better option?

First visit to Mrs Bridges tea rooms ,Greeted with a friendly smile from the staff in the kitchen and informed us that there was plenty of seats upstairs. The area upstairs could of been a lot cleaner food still on tables and on floor. The place wasn't busy so really no excuse for it being like it . Even the... More

I used to have lunch here every day when I moved to Leicester in the 1980s. Not been back for 30 years until yesterday. It was such a disappointment. Our table was covered in crumbs, food on the floor and on one of the chairs. Loads of staff and at that time not many customers so no excuse. My tea... More
