Went for lunch on a sunny September afternoon. We went for the baby squid with chickpeas as a starter to share which was mouthwatering good! I had the halibut for main and my friend had the spatchcock chicken. Everything was so fresh and cooked to...perfection! To top a lovely meal we received such good service and at no point felt rushed or overcrowded just the right amount of attentivenessMore

We found the service very slow and main portion size small. My husband ordered monk fish for his main which consisted of 5 small battered pieces of fish on a bed of rocket leaves, for which we paid £18. We decided to skip dessert and...ended up going through McDonald’s drive thru instead.More

We last visited Cini a few years ago. We were excited to see on the website that they now have a roof garden but when we rang to book, we were disappointed to be told that it might be open if they have enough staff...but they couldn't tell us even though the booking was a few days away. When we turned up, it wasn't open. We therefore had a table indoors. They had set the table for fewer people than we had booked for (despite me having rung twice to confirm the booking including number of guests), I appreciate that mistakes happen but the response was what let the restaurant down: they tried to squeeze us all on to the table but this would have been extremely difficult and impractical for us to eat and sit comfortably. Thankfully they agreed to add a small table on instead. After this disappointing start, service was incredibly slow and it took a long time for our drinks and food orders to be taken, and to arrive. When the waiting staff came with the food, they didn't know what the dishes were and had to go back to the kitchen to find out whilst still carrying the dishes. On one of the pizzas in the group, they hadn't added the extra topping asked for. Aside from this, the food itself was really tasty. I probably would be hesitant to go back given the overall experience, especially as it was quite pricey and they add a service charge too.More

I’m sorry to hear your disappointment, Unfortunately the lack of staff it has become a problem and we not allowed to take on staff from Italy anymore. Please don’t get me wrong, the staff we have , even though young and not of the sector,...More

Previous visits have always been really enjoyable so the opportunity for lunch following the pandemic was one not to be missed. Delighted to say that the ambiance, service and quality of the dishes has not suffered in the least. Arancini got me off to a...good start, whilst the Risotto de Mari did not disappoint. My compatriot enjoyed a marinara pizza and the house 'Spag Bol'. Washed down with a couple of Peroni Zero's and a glass of merlot it was great to be back.More

Brilliant Italian restaurant. The food and staff were both excellent. The owner even found time to speak with us. Would definitely recommend.

We had been here a, few, times before lockdown it was a nice place to go for a celebration. It use to be special, now it's average at best. We ordered olives and bread to start and we got olives only we then asked for...the bread and got more olives and dry bread and charged for both. The pizza was tasty in the middle as that's only where the topping was, the fig Chutney it was meant to have was so subtle I forgot it had it until my partner asked how it was. The base was so tough I ended up leaving half of it. We had to chase for service and when they asked if it was OK we said it wasn't really what we expected and a little average, the waitress said 'oh ok' and walked off so not really bothered. We then got charged a quid for tap water and 12.5% service charge. They don't even have proper menus anymore just paper placemats style menus like nandos. It wasn't bad just not what it used to be, more of a bistro then a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.More

Visited Cini with my child and mum and it was such a great experience. The staff were so accommodating with my Pushchair, I was quite nervous as it was the first time out with my child however they were so accommodating. The food was amazing!...We had the seabass and I have to say, it’s one of the best seabass dishes we’d ever had. Cooked to perfection! I can’t wait to come back soon. Thank youMore

A difficult review to write ... visited when restrictions were lifted and ate on the roof terrace which was lovely, however...2 hour time slot which is totally understandable in this current situation but on arriving it took a good 20 minute for our order to...be taken , I asked the waiter to take our order he said yes then walked off , some 15 minutes later the “head waitress”took it ! ( we were the only table at this point) One of the starters wasn’t what we ordered and one of the main sides were wrong , we had quite a wait for that ! With 10 minutes left before we had to vacate our table we were asked if we wanted dessert then reminded that we had to leave at our “time”🙄 we ordered dessert which took time to come out do we were well over our time slot and felt uneasy ! The head waitress has the most awful attitude towards customers and makes you feel like she’s doing you a favour letting eating there ! Such an arrogant attitude !!! There is normally a lovely Italian lady who’s head waitress and she is so much more accommodating and friendly than this sour faced misery ! A little advice , if your going to give people 2 hour time slots then you need to sort your timings out and take the order as soon as possible !! We had £28 service charge for a group of 4 people, added to the bill but not mentioned anywhere! If you’re going to add this onto you’re bill then make sure you provide a service worthy of it !!! Such a shame as amazing food but attitude toward customers stinks !!!!!!More

We were lucky enough to be able to book a table in CINIs all new outdoor terrace dining area. It was no suprise to see how amazing the transformation from their former garden area was to create a stunning place to safely enjoy the CINI...experience we know and love so well. As the beautiful day turned into a cool evening the outdoor heaters ensured or dining was enjoyed without having to put on our winter warmers we had at the ready. The new Spring menu had the usual CINI classic dishes with some great new additions and enough variety to enable you to return time after time and enjoy something new on each occasion. That said, it had been such a long time since we'd been able to come we opted for our favourite dishes. The team work really hard to bring the same restaurant experience to the terrace and must all be shattered at the end of each shift with all those steps. So great to be able to go out and eat such lovely food once again in a safe and comfortable setting. Summer evenings at CINI will be even better now and we can't wait to return. Thank you all!More
