My first impression, nice decor but try as they may the building can’t shake off its little chef vibe. Lots of big windows over looking a petrol station and a car park. It lacks a cosy ambiance, felt like sitting in a fish bowl. Prices...vary, some items were good value others seemed over priced. £2.25 for a pickle tray to accompany poppadoms at .85p each seemed over the top to me. We really enjoyed the starters, chicken tikka came out sizzling and onion bhajis were really good. Also the service was very good, waiting time was perfect, not rushed but not kept waiting either. When it came to the mains we were impressed with the portion sizes. The pilau rice was yellow, personally I would have preferred less of it with more colours. I was disappointed their menu didn’t include tandoori chicken and there’s no option to have tikka chicken for the balti or massala. The chicken used in the main meals was a little tough. Overall the meal was ok but it didn’t blow me away. I would go back but not regularly.More
