This charming tea shop provides good service and a wide range of food. The tomato and basil soup is really tasty! Reasonably priced, it's somewhere you would want to go back to if you're staying in the area.

Just a tea shop selling snacks, e.g. sanwiches, jacket potatoes and cakes etc with teas and coffees etc, but they were very nice. My Lincoln sausage baguette was lovely and I couldn't resist hot chocolate with whipped cream and Maltesers! Pleasant service too.

Looked inviting from the outside and not many in. Had to ask to order, had to ask for the drinks after waiting a while (only cold ones ordered) Had fruit cake and cheese, cake was very dry. Wouldn't go again

Close by the Castle and Cathedral this is a real gem. The food and service were excellent and the prices very fair. I would certainly visit again.

I visited this unassuming little tea room at the top of Steep Hill twice this week and have tried the tomato and basil soup and baked potato with tuna mayo - both very tasty. 3 of us shared a huge pot of good tea. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. I tried other nearby places during the week... More

We called in here for a quick bite having been tempted by the board outside with a great offer for cream scones + tea or coffee. These were put on hold until after we sampled some of the other delights from the simple little menu - I had toasted plum bread with stilton and my wife had the homemade tomato... More

This tea shop which is in a beautiful historic building (a stones throw from the Castle and Cathedral) was undergoing some repairs and renovation when we visited as it's under new ownership. It had been rather tired and drab looking when we last visited but the friendly new owner has made it look fresh and bright and told us she... More

Good value, very clean, friendly service tea shop in the centre of historic Lincoln. Can recommend the plum bread with cheddar, teacake with a large pot of tea for under £10.

Visited here for breakfast on Friday 21st October only to discover the building covered with scaffolding (with a discount for the inconvenience, it must be mentioned), a small hand written sign warning of wet paint on the door (which I found on my arm later!), the strong smell of fresh paint permeating everything in the restaurant and a decidedly clinical...
