Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

And another visit to our favourite tearooms in Lincoln where once again we had a warm welcome. This time we had the afternoon tea which is good value and tasty. As usual the cake selection was innovative and excellent. My daughter follows them on Insta...and the cakes are always a feast for the eyes. Thank you Fay for taking time out of (another) busy day to come and say hello. As always, highly recommended and worth queueing/waiting if you have to.More

Stopped here for a coffee and cake while sightseeing around the castle and cathedral. This is a lovely quirky place and the staff appeared to have dressed almost like the land girls from the war. It is not a very big place (I think they...may have more seating upstairs) and the place is stuffed with lots of interesting things. The coffee and cake were delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The door can be a bit of a challenge - just give it a good push lolMore

Bunty's Tearoom is situated halfway up the hill between the modern city centre and the cathedral quarter. On entering, you are struck by the decor which harks back to the second world war with old photographs on the walls and also on the tables. The...welcome was very warm and we were served probably the best pot of tea I've ever had outside of my own house. The tea is served in proper teapots with proper cups and saucers. Behind the counter they have a large collection of teapots. Although we didn't indulge, they had a selection of lovely cakes which were being cut into decent portions. We visited twice during our stay and will definitely be back if we visit Lincoln in the futureMore

Visited Buntys tea room based on Tripadvisor reviews, we were not disappointed. Service was excellent, setting was nostalgic even to Buntys teams outfits, the food was amazing especially the Apple & Blackberry crumble cake 😋😋

Nice setting however the soup was a modest portion with cheap thin bread which came without butter. Cold drink served with warm glass.

This is a charming little place - it’s like stepping back in time. The hostess was super friendly and sweet. They have great options for people with dietary restrictions- I had a gluten free cream scone - and it was delicious. - my friend had...the vegan chocolate cake. The whole experience was really a perfect taste of what a tea shop should be! Highly recommended.More

I don’t think it is dog friendly because of it’s layout: narrow stairway, gangways. Maybe try one of the pubs such as Royal William IV or the Duke William Hotel.
