So coffee was great. The Plum bread and cheese platter was well priced and fresh and well presented. The Place was very clean and the Staff wore full victory rolls and 40’s gear with make up. Super friendly staff, like amazingly friendly. Good service, cute place, nice staff, lovely spot and 50% off because of the promotion so fab.

Myself and my boyfriend decided to explore Lincoln for the day and came across Buntys- we were not disappointed! We were after a bite to eat and coffee to get out of the boiling sunshine for a short while. Inside decor is just fab, it is War themed with lots of pictures and memorabilia on the walls and vintage table cloths. Staff were also absolutely lovely. We both ordered a sandwich each which were fab and came with homemade coleslaw and some crisps. But it was the puddings that drew us in! I ordered a Victoria Sponge Cake and toffee nut latte which were delightful. My boyfriend ordered a Fresh scone with clotted cream and jam which came warm and looked absolutely gorgeous! He also had a latte. I would definitely recommend to anyone who fancies a spot of lunch and a throwback to the 30/40s. Hope to visit again soon!

We visited Lincoln with friends today (2 of us have ceoliac disease) and having googled gf restaurants we thought we would give Bunny's Tearooms a visit. Steep Hill is beautiful and when you get to Bunty's you are in need of a rest and food. They are famous for their traditional Afternoon Tea so I asked if I could have Afternoon Tea Gluten Free!!! No problem Sir came the answer 👍. When it arrived I was totally shocked at what I was given. 2 beautiful filled cobs with side salad and crisps, a fruit scone with clotted cream and jam, a large slice of carrot cake and a pot of tea (4 cups) all for only £15 all gluten free. There was lots of other things on the menu that were gluten free and the others loved the choices and the things they had to eat, so this is a must for anyone 😋. The whole place has a 40's theme too 😊 Thank you Bunty's xxx

Made me and my husband go outside and wait on the pavement in the biting Winter wind while they wiped a table that had been vacated (it wasn't even busy but the patron acted as if they were stressed beyond belief at two people hoping for a sit down). A warm smile and allowing us to sit down while they wipe the table, with some appreciation that it isn't a big deal to clear whilst having customers sit down might help keep custom. The snooty, small minded tendency to say 'go and wait outside until we're ready for you' shows a tearoom with some ideas well above its station. Shame. Won't be visiting here again and I suggest you don't bother either. There are plenty of places that will be friendlier.

Been here twice now and both times have been lovely. To be honest I've had the same thing both times but it's only because I enjoyed it so much the first time. The ladies are absolutely lovely and all dressed in 1940s get up. This time I waited outside for ten minutes for a table. It's one of the places in Lincoln thats worthy of a wait. I try and steer clear of corporate coffee chains so I'm always happy to find a new individual cafe. Their GF scones are absolutely lovely. And customers are left to put their clotted cream and jam on in whichever way they deem fit (cream then jam). Cappuccino and a scone with cream and jam comes to around £6

A real gem of a traditional tearoom serving scrumptious homemade cakes and delicious sandwiches with a range of teas and coffees. The tea served in quirky teapots with china cups and saucers. The interior has a vintage decor and the staff are all easy going and very friendly and if there is anything you need to know about Lincoln and local events just ask. Definitely be back again!

We regularly visit the 1940’s themed Bunty’s tea room because it’s just so consistently good! They have home made fresh cakes to die for! The rhubarb and custard gateaux is unbelievable! They do a delicious tea for two with fabulous cakes, light scones and a good selection of sandwiches. The staff and owner are friendly and clearly passionate about the place and they have really high standards. After a stinker of a Covid year they deserve a visit from the locals and tourists. We love the place. If you want proper doorstep fresh sandwiches or light bites such as soup, jacket potatoes with a variety of teas and coffees and hanker after mouthwatering homemade fresh cakes and scones don’t go anywhere else in Lincoln! We’ve tried most places and this is the best! They do vegan and gluten free too!

So glad we decided to stop here on our descent down into the town . An unusual and quirky tea room with fabulous food and staff . A very popular place with tourists and regular customers . The Scottish lady who served us was extremely busy but was very engaging with everyone she spoke to . Customer service and attention to detail at its best .

Popped in the little tea room with a vintage feel to it, after walking up the steep hill, which was worth it. We had tea for 2 with warm scones with jam and cream served on classic China, right down to the spoons. Music was being played in the background from the 40,s ,which I was to young to remember but was a nice touch. Our order was served by a young lady who gave us a warm welcome and was very polite. The scones were so nice we took 2 scones away for our parents to taste later. I would highly recommend this little independent tea shop.

Having a walk around steep hill and came across this excellent tea shop...we were warmly greeted and shown to a table... The tea shop is full of memorabilia from the 30s and 40s giving a feel and atmosphere of a bygone age.. We had Earl Grey tea and a slice of cake..the tea was served in wonderful china cups and the most delightful tea pot..the cake was delicious and we took some home with us for another day... The staff were very attentive and friendly and we felt very welcomed and shall definitely be paying a return visit.

Having climbed steep Hill excellent location for coffee and refreshment. Attracted by memorabilia in window. Sadly the owner and waitress who showed us to the table were more interested in holding lengthy discussions with other customers rather than serving us. Basically sat like lemons waiting, they knew we were there yet continued their conversations. Got up and left and made it top of hill to another establishment where reception and service were superb.

If you plan on visiting wonderful Lincoln, be sure to stop off at Bunty’s Tea Rooms, half way up Steep Hill on the left as you are on your way up (trust me - you’ll need a cuppa!). My granddaughter and I found this fabulous little gem of a place quite by accident. The ambience is super, it honestly felt like we had stepped back into war time England. Bunty and her staff were authentically dressed in 1940’s outfits and were welcoming and friendly. Everything she sells is homemade and freshly prepared and we drank our tea out of dainty bone china teacups. I’m very much looking forward to returning at my earliest opportunity and will certainly sample Bunty’s full afternoon tea next time, which looked delicious. Our own cream tea of warm, freshly made scones was delicious. Highly recommended.

Where do I start …. I have had two Birthday cakes made for myself (and family to enjoy!) in the past few years, by Bunty’s. The first one was a Battenberg cake, it was absolutely delicious, made completely fresh ready for the big day. It was also the first ever round shape full size Battenberg I have ever found available, rather than the traditional Battenberg shape. I can’t wait to have it again. My next cake for my most recent Birthday was a Salted Caramel cake - the most beautiful, moist, fresh, salted caramel cake I have ever had. The decorations on top were absolutely beautiful, and a lovely surprise, with so much effort and thought put in. The cake was again inside a lovely sturdy box secured with Bunty’s stickers, made completely fresh. My family haven’t been able to leave it alone! (Or me) I’m a huge cake addict and know a good cake - these cakes are THE BEST around. If you want a celebration cake making or just any cake, Bunty’s is the place to go! I’m already missing my Birthday cake and currently working out when the next family event is so that we can have another made, or I think I’d like one anyway just to have to enjoy! A big big thank you to Bunty’s lovely owner for making my Birthday so special yet again 😊😊

Absolute exquisite find of a tea room whilst pottering around Lincoln’s finest asset - Lincoln Cathedral! New to Lincoln and as a gluten intolerant lady I struggle to find establishments that will cater for my condition. Staff were so understanding taking the time to advise me on which menu was available to myself. How marvellous I thought to myself. An establishment with a choice for gluten intolerance. Service was impeccable that I just had to write a review and I shall be highly recommending and of course returning without a a second thought. Well done team - superb.

Wonderful 40s themed cake shop which not only looked amazing and played nostalgic music but served amazing food as well. Staff wore 40s style dresses and the china and teapots were vintage. Fantastic. The Lincoln plum bread was outstanding Thoroughly recommend
