My new favorite restaurant, visited on a recommendation. Food was superb and plentiful. Staff were exceptional. We will be back thank you
Absolutely fantastic. Brilliant Staff and lovely food. Service from start to finish was amazing. We went for our 28th wedding anniversary and had a memorable night. We where given gifts for our celebration. Many thanks to the owners Son. The food was delicious and we...will go back the next time we are in Lincoln. Highly recommended.More
I booked this restaurant for my wife and I based on the excellent reviews for our first evening in Lincoln having never been to this area before. We were not disappointed - the food and service was second to none. In fact, it was so...good, we did not bother looking anywhere else the following night which was even better. Ole Ole Tapas Bar was just brilliant, thank you.More
I visited at lunch today with my husband and other family as a treat for his birthday. It was our first time at this restaurant but we had heard fantastic things. From the get go, the service was great and everyone seemed really friendly. Each...pair of us opted for the lunch special of bread and breadsticks along with 4 tapas dishes. Everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Then at some point during our visit, a member of staff must have overheard one of us mention about it being my husbands birthday so when desert arrived, his had a candle in it and staff came over singing happy birthday and gave him a lovely gift. Such an extra special touch which was really nice. It was a great experience and we shall definitely be back :-)More
3rd visit in the last year. It was open on a Monday night - so rare these days. It was full, which shows how well regarded this venue is. Yes, you can cook tapas at home - but there were 4 of us - and...you would never cook 10 individual dishes at home. The standard was high and atmosphere great. Well worth going out for.More
Wow what an experience. Amazing tapas, great service, delicious sangria. Atmosphere electric. Would recommend to both veggies and non veggies. Could eat here every day! Reasonable prices. Great for a celebration meal.
I celebrated my 70th birthday with family here, and cannot praise the staff of Ole Ole enough. Thank you for the wonderful food and drink, and for all your help in making my birthday a special day. There were 14 of us and everyone enjoyed...themselves and the excellent food. My daughter was able to decorate the table, and the cake my son made was served with candles. We all had a fantastic time.More
Fabulous food and service. Very authentic Tapas, reminded us of being back in Gran Canaria! Our dog was even allowed in and they have a few tables where you can eat with your dogs by your side. Wonderful, will definitely be back.
Couldn't be bothered cooking last night, so popped round to my local tapas restaurant for dinner. I had the potato croquettes again, my favourite!
So much wanted to love this restaurant but i have to be honest, if we go out for dinner its a night out but at ole ole its a very early finish as it closes at ten and by half past nine in this big...restaurant that was full when we arrived we were the last 2 customers and as we didnt arrive until after eight it was not a night out, not long after nine they started cleaning the open kitchen so all you can hear for twenty minutes is a powerful vacum cleaner which doesnt make for a romantic ambiance and then all the kitchen staff leave making us very self concious that we are in the way as they are ready to lock up. also i was looking forward to speaking spanish but the owner although busy early then seemed to race round the tables asking people if they enjoyed everything befor disappearing not to be seen again, food was very good with all the dishes being superb except one this being described as a boneless white fish which i am pretty certain was dogfish or cazon in spanisn which is pretty overpowering and not pleasant and if it had been mentioned in the description we would definitely not nave ordered it, we told the young waitress about this but to no avail as a man that loves all things spanish and travels frequently to spain i was so looking forward to ole ole and an authentic spanish experience but i am afraid it did not live up to my expectations.More
We went to this restaurant due to positive reviews on a coeliac forum. From the off it was exceptional, with a continual checking and rechecking of my wife's needs. Indeed, one dish was completely renewed as the waiter had carried it in the same arm...he had previously carried non gluten free bread. Every dish was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. Each member of staff was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. It was my wife's birthday and we could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. I can truthfully say that this was an exceptional meal in terms of both taste and experience and one which will definitely stay in our memories. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.More
Ole Ole, is a family run business located within The Lawn, near the Bailgate area of Lincoln. I no longer live in the city, so had to rely on recommendations from friends. This restaurant came highly recommended by everyone I spoke to. After my initial...call to the restaurant, I instinctively knew I had booked the right location, for my mother’s surprise 80th Birthday. I spoke to them on several occasions. They were very helpful and courteous, with a "Sure, we can do that!" attitude. The restaurant offers an inviting and lively atmosphere that is perfect for hosting large parties. I was surprised to see how spacious the restaurant is and its well-designed interiors are tastefully adorned with warm, contemporary decor, creating an ambiance that is both stylish and comfortable. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by attentive and friendly staff. Our table of 25 was situated in a dining space at the rear of the restaurant. My friend went to the restaurant early to dress the table and it looked amazing. The layout, allowed for easy mingling and conversation with other guests. There were two other tables celebrating in that area, so the atmosphere was vibrant. It was suggested, that my mother enter the venue via the front of the building, Her guests accessed our table from a side door, so there was no ‘Reveal’ at the front door to give the game away. Although we had a set menu, the restaurant offers a diverse menu with a wide range of options to cater to all tastes and dietary preferences. The food was delicious and plentiful. In their promo video, the owner states that everything they do is “With love and care”. That commitment translates to the food and impeccable service, The team managed to create the intimate feel/service of a small restaurant, whilst catering seamlessly for large parties. Thank you to all the staff. The attention to detail and commitment to excellent service ensured my mother had a memorable experience. Overall, this restaurant creates an atmosphere that blends exceptional service, inviting ambiance, and a menu to suit all tastes. It is the ideal destination for those seeking a memorable dining experience.More

After a scour of reviews on Tripadvisor we plumped for booking a table at Ole Ole for our first night in Lincoln and weren’t disappointed. We had a short wait on arrival but it did look as though a couple of large tables had arrived...at the same time so complexly understandable. Once seated our order was taken promptly and the waitress advised well on a couple of dishes and how many were recommended for the table. The food started to arrive quickly and we began to tuck in and were suitably blown away by the flavours and tastes we were enjoying. Delicious food throughout the whole meal and scrumptious desserts to follow as we’d peeked a few going out to other tables and were suitably tempted to indulge too! Book in and treat your tastebuds, you won’t be disappointed 😊More
