Booked here for a meal with a friend, taking advantage of the government's Eat Out to Help Out initiative. The steaks were delicious and the excellent service was attentive, without being intrusive, despite the indoor and outdoor areas being packed to the rafters. People who hadn't booked were being turned away constantly so if you want to grab a great value meal here, Mon-Wed in August, make sure you book ahead

We visited for lunch on a Wednesday. A shame that no tables outside could seat 4 people but plenty of space inside. The lunch menu was great - 2 of us had 2 courses £14.95 & 2 others had 1 course for £10.95. Calamari & halloumi for starters. Very nice. 3 Aberdeen Angus burgers - lovely & flavoursome & I had grilled salmon with vegs & new pots. There was only 2 reasons they didn’t receive 5 stars - they forgot to bring 1 drink & they took 2 plates away before the other 2 people had finished eating. Would recommend though.

Booked last minute for my mums birthday and it did not disappoint! The Carpaccio starter , ribeye & sirloin steaks and the tuna steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted gorgeous. The atmosphere is lovely and Harry our waiter was such a lovely lad, very attentive and he was amazing with my 6yr old daughter to the point she had decided that she was going to marry him 😂 so Harry in 20 years time when you’re back home in North Carolina minding your business and you get a knock at the door and it’s a little scouse girl like hey harry 😍💁🏻‍♀️ just put her back on the plane mate cos she’s a nightmare haha! Seriously though we will definitely be returning. Thankyou for a lovely night

Nice restaurant, booked but had to wait for table as not ready. Starter well presented but very small portion for a sharing platter for two ( only three prawns, four small rings of calamari) so expensive for what we were served. Mains - we all had steaks, good flavour to steaks but accompaniments lacking, potatoes cold covered in dressing, side order very late arriving, had to remind waitress. Desserts- good ice cream, good chocolate pudding but profiteroles very heavy pastry not that good. Overall a reasonably good meal slightly expensive so wouldn’t rush back .

Visited this place based on their good location Not a good experience! 1.You can hear from the kitchen and the whole restaurant’s environment that everything is rushing (kind of out of control) and employees are panicking! Food was very average! Portions are too small! Menu is overpriced based on the service and quality and add to that portion sizes. However,Steak was tender, to name a positive sided. Perhaps never go back. Thank you anyway.

Restaurant set up 4/5 Service 3.5/5 Starters 3/5 Mains 3/5 Dessert N/A Kids 3/5 Visit again - Unlikely Nice restaurant set up. A little insecure with entry and exit etc with Covid and distancing. We eventually got in and ordered for the boys (2&5) V expensive fish fingers and chips kids meal with no dessert included Adult starter - chicken wings were nicely cooked and flavoured. Mains - Ribeye steak medium. The steak was heavily charred and although pink in the middle, you could taste the charring over anything else. Very little seasoning. Had to be accompanied with a lot of sauce Service was ok, felt the waiters were unsure with the current situation. Expectations higher than end result.

Service leaves a lot to be desired, after being seated no one came over and introduced themselves. A girl came over to take a drinks order, we asked if we could order a starter and mains when the drinks came, and were abruptly told no. Ordered a seafood platter to start, majorly overpriced for what you get. No check back. No salt and pepper on the tables or offered. I ordered a fillet steak MR, when it came it was more like medium well, had to get someone’s attention to send it back. It was taken back to the kitchen, and no one returned to explain what was going on. My partner ate his meal alone while we waited, with everything else going cold. The steak that came was nice, but definitely not a fillet. We were given a completely half shandy each, which was a nice gesture but I feel as though it doesn’t make up for the evening. Very poor communication between staff, and poor attention to tables with the service. The table next to us ordered sides that must of been forgotten, and didn’t get them until they had finished, the waitress didn’t come over to speak to them once when she knew they were waiting. It’s the little things that make people forget the mistakes and want to come back. The sides are very overpriced. Wouldn’t return.

We recently went to Kassap on a double date. The waitress didn't seem to have any knowledge of what they had behind the bar, when asked what rum they have she shrugged and passed the drinks menu over. The same happened when one of us asked what bottled beers they have. Once we finally placed a drinks order, she came back to the table twice to ask again what drinks two of us wanted. We then got 3 out of 4 of the drinks we ordered about 10 minutes later, we then waited a further 5 minutes for the fourth drink. Then another drink arrived which we didn't order. Luckily the food order went slightly smoother and the starters arrived altogether and fairly quickly. We then waited a while for our mains and again only 3 out of 4 of our mains arrived together. After a couple of different servers looking at our table they all seemed to venture to the kitchen to find out what was going on, we waited around 5 minutes for the fourth main to come out. The food was really nice and tasty and the portions aren't massive. We again ordered more drinks and had to chase them up when they didn't arrive. The ice cream that was ordered came missing a flavour and melted, when we asked for the other flavour they just plopped it on the top. Although the food was good, the service was pretty poor for the amount you pay for this restaurant. Probably wouldn't go back a second time.

First of all, really gorgeous place and the staff are lovely, friendly and attentive. However, food was very disappointing. The Mumbai chicken starter came within 5 minutes and was lukewarm which was obviously off putting. No one wants lukewarm chicken. I ordered the herb marinated sirloin and my hubby got the garlic leaf steak. I have actually cooked better myself. Mine was charred around the outside which didn't taste at all nice and it came in a sizzling pan full of oil! I couldn't taste any herbs at all, same for the hubby's. The potatoes served with them were cold also. I got the kassap sauce which was supposed to be a mustard type sauce but was actually tasteless. Such shame, especially for the price of the steaks.

We were a party of 9 and had been booked in for a few weeks, our table was delayed by 45 minutes. All the starters were good and but the mains were mostly a disappointment from over cooked steak to raw sea bass which when it was sent back it took over 20 minutes for a new meal which meant my friend eating on her own as we had all finished. My steak was perfect and one of the best I’ve eaten. Staff are good but over worked and very rushed. Not sure if I’d go back

Hi I had been given rave reviews about this place, but was let down on visit over Christmas. Service was excellent, the problem being the food. We order starters & a main each. The starters were lukewarm & came too quickly to made fresh from when the order went in. The mains came & for nearly £30 for each meal we were disappoint. With just getting meat & chips, the plate looked bland, our steaks were quite tough & portion sizes were very disappointing for the price. Would not go back, better steak houses in Liverpool.

Food was average. Waiter tacked on extras to bill in what felt like a dishonest way. We were asked if we would like chips with our steak as if it was an option to have with the steak only to find that the steak already came with potatoes and the chips were added on extras that were pretty much unnecessary. We also asked for water for the table for which we were charged which was fair enough but were charged for an extra bottle. Demi glacé sauce was a bit steep at £3.50 which tasted like your average chippy gravy. Steaks were ok if somewhat underwhelming and under-seasoned. My walk fe got the 250g ribeye and I got the 350g Texas steak which both seemed to be the same size to us. It wasn’t terrible but just smacked of the behaviour of some of the worst tourist trap steakhouses in big cities. Would defo avoid in future.

We visited as family of 5 on a sunday afternoon for sons 18th birthday meal. Booked on recommendation and certainly glad we did. We chose Kappas as my son loves his steak, and he wasnt disappointed. He ordered the fillet steak medium, said it was the best steak he had had. I ordered chilli prawns which were amazing, flavours so good. Other food ordered was children's chicken fillet, chicken fajitas and cajun chicken burger, all plates clean. What made our visit was the staff and customer service. They made a note of my sons birthday, brought him chocolate cake with a candle, sang happy birthday and 2 cocktails on the house. Was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend here as food is amazing and service fab.

Very disappointing. The food and the presentation of the food isn't good at all! To begin the bread was served in a really cheap looking square bowl that was roughly chipped down one side (quite dangerous!). The prawn Pattaya starter was swimming in a sea of pink cream and the prawns were drenched and cold! The feta salad didn't fare much better. I had to hunt through a jungle of leaf drenched in balsamic glaze for 4 measly pieces of feta and 3 olives! All served in a bowl from Poundland. I was hoping the chicken kebab might redeem the starters but no this was just as bad. When a Turkish restaurant cannot get a simple grilled kebab right you know something isn't right! The chicken was dry , grey and tasteless. The dish itself was very confused with tinned peppers and a sad looking wrap on the side, with salad and another green concoction shoved into yet more horrid looking square Poundland bowls. My partner had the steak and said it was just okay. It was supposed to come with Avocado but it didn't - when we pointed this out, another hideous, square bowl arrived with a mosh of something but it wasn't avocado as we know it! When our waiter asked us how the food was we gave honest feedback he passed this on to the owner whose remark was 'that's how it is'. Save your money and visit Elif down the street for a delicious grilled meat authentic Turkish experience.

This was easily the best dinner either of us have had. We came here on a busy friday night without booking and only had to wait 15 minutes for a table, and during this time we were shown to the bar where we had drinks while we waited. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the cheesy meatballs and beef & mozzarella rolls for starts and they were delicious. We then ordered the fillet steak and cheesy sirloin steak for mains and no other steak (or dinner) that we’ve had before comes close to it. Price was very reasonable considering other steaks we’ve had are the same price but steaks from here are 10x nicer. We’ve already planned to come back to liverpool just to eat here. 10/10 for everything in this restaurant.
