We had a lovely dinner in this lovely restaurant in central Liverpool. I ordered the Ravioli Tartufo which was delicious. Really nice place and atmosphere. A jazz trio was playing in the lower bar which was real .

Terrific authentic Sardinian dishes at reasonable prices. Very much a family restaurant with some great menu options. Service is very friendly, if a little slow on a busy weekend. Nice setting, although nothing special. Overall great food, friendly service, decent prices. Well worth a visit,...you won't be disappointed.More

4 out of six main meals were cold. Waitress offered to microwave one meal. This meal included prawns, so we declined. Pasta was not the best quality and cold. Two of the meals were hot and far better quality than the others. After complaining the...bill was amended and service charge was taken off. This seemed unfair as there was no problem with the waitress service.More

Thought we would try here for lunch. We hadn't booked but they had a booth for us upstairs. Sadly it took them 10 mins just to order drinks as I think there was only one waitress due to it only being 3pm. It then took...10 mins for it to arrive. Next we ordered our food but they didn't mention about the lunchtime deals. We ordered salmon brushetta for starters and fetacini pistachio and pancetta and pacheri mare (seafood special) main. The starter tasted amazing and you got alot portion wise. The main came out quick and looked and tasted amazing. You could taste the pasta was homemade. We also had a pint of lager and white wine and the bill with £4.90 service charge included came to £53.90 which was good value. I'd recommend this place and will go again. The food tastes like proper Italian home cooked fresh food. The only thing I had to mark it down was simply the long wait for drinks but I think if you went later they most probably would have more waitresses.More

Popular restaurant in Liverpool and my first time. Don’t know why it’s taken me so long! Service was brilliant. We turned up early and asked for a cocktail. They seated us next to the bar and both the bar man and the waiter downstairs had...a chat with us. We eat upstairs which is slightly nicer, ordered a sharing plate and a bottle of wine whilst we studied the menu and the specials board. The food is excellent. My wife had the Lasagna-so anyone and everyone can cook a Lasagna, but let me tell you that very few can deliver a flavour in the sauce that is this intense. Lovely. I had the fettuccine pistachio. Absolutely spot on. All washed down with a very good Valpolicelli, and a brilliant night. I think this restaurant has captured Italian cooking which to me is simple food, cooked well, with fresh ingredients and intense flavours. Lovely night. One complaint: the air-con was broken and it was absolutely boiling in there. Please get it fixed or get some fans.More

Having been here before. And enjoyed our visits. Today was a big disapointment. We had booked for 7.15 in advance and requested a booth. On arrival approx 3 mins late ,we entered behind two gents . The lady greeted them as regulars. And started walking...of upstairs with them Saying table for 4 Which one of these chaps said no. And i then said, as she was half way up the stairs we have booked for 7.15 She motioned for us to follow her on ,when we got to the top of the stairs thses two guys just walked straight over to the last remaing booth and sat down. Without even asked where to sit. Again i expmained we have pre booked. But was just offered a table, sounds petty but that was not what we had asked for. And for reasons i do not wish to discuss, this was our 1st time out for a meal for along time. And as we have been here before, we wanted a nice evening. The lady went to fetch the owner. But im my opinion as she hadnt realised we have been here on a few occasions. She didnt even bother to ask us if we had booked. Doubt ill visit again.More

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant. Staff friendly but efficient. Food outstanding. This is my 3rd visit to La Famiglia - once with my husband and children, once with a friend for lunch and yesterday with my parents. Each visit the food has been outstanding, perfectly cooked...and excellent value. Its the only place we eat out when visiting Liverpool 😁More

Not for Me ! Service was Ok but did not like the food, my husband had the Bruschetta Sarda which he said was very bland I had the Pasta Paccheri Mare which again was bland and the pasta quite hard, wont be coming again.
