We took advantage of the eat out offer

We took advantage of the eat out offer, booked table for 4 waited a few minutes to be seated which was fine. The American man at front desk was extra friendly. My partner is vegetarian so ordered the vegetarian option and waited but it didn’t arrive then after over 40 mins was told it’s not available now, which we found was poor customer service and then for them to put a service charge of 10% on the bill was just cheeky. The place felt Covid safe but check your bill for added charges as our was £6 so reduced our saving.

So much but pricey

Our original booking was cancelled so found this taking walk ins. No salad bar so have to order sides. Staff are masked up and good spacing. Staff attentive with meat so can eat a hog, and they come out with a good range of cheaper and expensive cuts. However overall very pricey.

Been here now a couple of times and never had any complaints. Plenty of choice from the salad island, with cold and warm dishes and sides. The waiters come often with different freshly grilled meats. Something for everyone, lamb, different ways of chicken, different kinds of steak, sausages and more. All of the staff, from reception to waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. Cocktails are really nice and a good wine selection.

Not impressed with service or cost

I went here for the first time for dinner.. I’ve read and heard good things about this place and thought I’d treat myself.. So you pay £28 and there’s a salad bar and the waiters bring you different cooked meats of the menu until you’re done, the very first meat brought to me and the waiter dropped oil and fat onto my jeans.. I went to the salad bar got a couple of different things including potato salad.. the potatoes weren’t cooked properly, you’re supposed to get a portion of fries with your meal, my fries were brought to my table after I’d finished eating, I also asked one of the waitresses for bbq sauce and Mayo, neither of which arrived. I will say the meats were very tasty, but the cost of the food and the service I received were way off. Won’t be visiting again or recommending.

However, we believe that offering our guests the best quality possible of meat and produce. About the oil accident, it is correct that the rotation system is very interactive, as our passadores are in close contact with our guests during the meat service, and for this reason accidents like this can happen. Really Slow/Bad Service

We came here to kick off our bank holiday weekend in Liverpool but it fell very flat. The gentleman who greets you downstairs is so friendly and polite! But it went down hill from there. We were then asked to go upstairs and were shown to a table right in the corner. Our reservation was for 7:30pm and the waitress came and took side orders and drinks orders. These arrived 20 minutes later so we weren’t able to get any meat, despite it doing the rounds, until 7:50pm as we hadn’t been given a plate until the sides arrived. The cocktails are delicious, it’s just a shame I couldn’t order more! We had finished our tiny peppercorn sauce portion and both our drinks by about 8:15pm but unfortunately no one came over to ask if we needed anything else. We clearly had empty glasses on the table and kept trying to grab the waitresses attention but it was like she was avoiding eye contact. We eventually asked one of the meat carvers to send someone over who we could order drinks from at about 8:50pm, these didn’t arrive until 9:10pm. So we basically had a full hour of having no drinks. We were also disappointed in the food selection, they kept bringing round the same chilli chicken, lemon chicken & rump steaks. After being there over an hour we had to request the lamb otherwise we could have been waiting all night. We eventually asked for the bill and our table was cleared and then they brought round garlic bread, cinnamon pineapple and chicken wrapped in bacon, for the first time in 90 minutes. They should have a set rota of meat to ensure it all gets brought out in some kind of order as we saw the same cuts of meat being brought round repeatedly, EG pork loin with cheese was brought round 3 or 4 times when we had to request lamb. The waitress did apologise for the delay in drinks, saying there was a large table round the corner, however we had been sat there for an hour with empty glasses so this doesn’t excuse not even checking on your tables to make sure everything is ok.

Ridiculously over priced

Visited on Saturday 15th for our first night out in 6 months together after having our son. The only good thing about the entire place was the beautiful decor and the lovely American bloke who greeted us. Unlimited sides and unlimited meats? Unfortunately the sides were not to our taste so we only had fries. Our table was visited 4 times with selected meats despite having our card on green over the space of an hour and a half so we sat picking at our fries. The pork was so dry. The steak was delicious but scarce. I asked for bbq sauce that didn’t materialise. Lots of staff wandering around but rarely close enough to catch their attention. We ordered a cocktail which took 20 mins to arrive despite sitting directly in front of the bar watching the bar man do absolutely nothing. To add insult to injury we were charged the best part of £100 for the pleasure for the food and 2 drinks each. This included an optional 10% service charge which when the card machine was presented wasn’t actually optional at all. Wouldn’t visit again and only reason we didn’t complain because we didn’t want to put a downer on what was supposed to be our special night.

Not enough staff = Slow Service

We were seated in a corner and ignored by the 2 waitresses pretty much all evening after our initial drinks and side orders were taken. It was impossible to get another drink or side dish as the waitresses never came over and we couldn't get their attention at they seemed to avoid eye contact. They kept asking other tables if everything was ok but ignored our table in the corner. The selection of meats was also repetitive, they kept bringing the same cuts of steak round again and again and ignored the pork, gammon, lamb, etc. We were here for 2 hours and only saw the lamb once during this time.

RIP off meal

Enjoyed the meal on the whole although avoid the chilli chicken when we cut into it the smell was rancid we had to push it to the side but did not complain as the service was very good. Be aware when paying your bill they put a 10% service charge on the says optional this was never optional as when paying they took this anyway without questioning if you wanted to pay it. A very expensive meal wont be back again.

Very disappointing - needs serious changes!

I have always wanted to go to Bem Brasil and after hearing some great reviews from family and friends. I immediately booked my partner and I a table, for our next trip to Liverpool. We had been to a similar style of restaurant in Chester so we were really excited! Unfortunately when we were sat at our times the experience just went down hill...we ordered our drinks and sides at the same time. The sides came almost immediately but we were still sat waiting for a drinks during our meal. Half way through, I ordered another one. Which I didn't receive till the end, when we were wanting to pay the bill! The portion sizes were ridiculous and didn't make sense, we ordered: chips, sweet potato mash and two peppercorn sauces. The chips came in a big basket which was plenty, but we only received a lump of sweet potato mash and one tiny pot of peppercorn sauce. When we raised this issue to the waitress she said that was the portion for two, even though we couldn't get more than one use out of it. Then when asking another member of staff he disagreed with her and brought us another?? We found we had to ask multiple times for our drinks or sauces, or we were just forgotten about. Drinks, sides and service was awful. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there's no excuse! We noticed multiple people being sat down and after a ridiculous amount of time, leaving. The only positive was the members of staff bringing steaks around to our table were very chatty and helpful, they were the only ones that went the extra mile. Considering the price it wasn't worth it at all, I would have rather have paid the extra somewhere else and got better service. When it came to paying, they added on an extra ten pounds service charge. When we refused to pay this, due to the bad experience the staff member dealing with our payment completely turned on us. I will not be going back until serious changes are made with service and food! I'm currently a university student so nights away and meals are rare and something I have to save up for, so this experience was very disappointing and not worth the time and energy I had spent saving for it.

Soooo Much Food

We to the resturant a couple of nights ago for a birthday and was very happy. There is a continuous supply of meat and extras, great service and would definitely return, my one complaint is the 10% service charge on the bill which l totally disagree with. We would have certainly given a good tip but to be charged on the bill is sooo wrong, but a great place

Extremely high quality in all departments!!

My partner & I visited this place last night and it was a fantastic experience. There was a bit of a setback for tables and we had to wait a little bit however I understand this is likely due to their social distancing measures which is 100% okay. We were spoken to and treated very professionally, our ours for drinks & sides were taken and delivered almost instantly, the sides were of exceptional quality, everything about them was perfect. The meats come round almost constantly and you can get a good selection of each one, if you want more they're happy to give you more. All the meats were perfect temperature and cooked to absolute perfection. I would recommend this place for any occasion it's decorated fantastically throughout and is modernised. Fantastic value for money and I will be visiting again!

A party of 30, they spread us out between 3 tables, which was not what we requested, would have prefered to all be sat together. Service was awful, took 3 asks to get drinks supplied to table. Meat was fatty. And not enough different options offered (staff kept coming back with same one). Only positive was the salad/extras bar- that was wonderful. One of our guests was a pescatarian, he waited over an hour for his food (that he ordered via the menu). Avoid an go to Fazenda, nicer/classier/better restaurant.

What a find

Called in looking for somewhere for supper. What a brilliant find. From the reception where the staff member was welcoming, infornative and funny to the waiting staff it was fabulous. Once we sorted how to order (menus scanned onto your phone), we ordered our sides and sauces and drinks in person, turned our little voucher on the table to green and waited. The sides came really quickly and then the meat started to arrive. It was carved at the table. Lots of choice and all beautifully cooked. Even asked how I liked my beef and then brought some exactly how I liked it. All included in the set price. You just turned the voucher to red when you didn't want any more. Alternative fish dishes are available but charged differently. We were lucky as had special Monday happy hour price. A great evening, couldn't fault anything. Just need a branch to open in Alnwick Northumberland.

Perfect!

We go to Bem Brasil in Liverpool once a year or so. They certainly haven't lost their touch, i think customer service and attention to detail may have even imporved a bit. The servers appeared to be more attentive than last time. If you haven't experienced this before, you basically help yourself to non-meat items from the buffet, then servers bring you unlimited amounts of every type of meat, until you tell them to stop. If i had to criticise anything then it would be that they guessed my 4 children's ages to be able to do our bill, as opposed to asking us how old they were. They put one child in the wrong age bracket and the bill had to be re-done, but apart from that we love this place and we love the unique experience and we look forward to going back. There are only 3 of these in the country, they need to open more!!!

Celebration meal

We wen to Bem Brasil for my husbands 60th the choice of food was great. The buffet bar have a lovely selection of salads different potatoe dishes chips roast etc veggies cold meats and every sauce/gravy you would would want. Meat was constantly been brought to the table every type there is including various steaks gammon chicken garlic chicken pork. You won’t go hungry here. If your a meat lover it’s a must.
